Are there any "quick wins" in terms of upgrading survivability when transitioning from leveling this to maps?

I have capped res and life on all gear (though boots is ~60 so a touch low); sitting at 3.3k life. By level 75 I'll have more flat and % life so should be closer to 4k.

Appreciate that levels and gem levels go a long way, but is there more that can be done to boost survivability until then (and until perfect form, arctic armor, etc)?

Leveling to 90 is so fast anyways, that it's not worth the time to think about it too much.
Keep spamming your flasks and you should be fine.

Jade flask should be better than granite.
Other than that your gear looks fine.

If you have the currency, buy some new claws.
Use the forked PoB version to see the damage difference.

Cheers. I grabbed 2x wasps nests for now. Think part of the survivability issue comes from not having played melee for a while and not being too familiar with correct usage of (vaal) MS, blood rage, etc, but that'll come with time. The build itself is a lot of fun.

There are 2 small cluster jewels that can boost your survivability by alot. There is Fettle, which is basically 14% life and 20 flat life for 2 points, and one that gives Enduring Composure, which is Endurance charge on hit. These can help quite a bit.

For Mediums, Brush with Death and Exposure Therapy can give you damage and some survivability. Brush with death gives you 1% of life back on kill, and Exposure Therapy gives you some Chaos resist over Time.

On larges, there isnt much that directly boosts your survability, but I like Unwaveringly Evil. Makes it so you cannot get stunned while attacking with a Chaos skill, so what generally happens is you will only die when you get 1 shot. Because at 3.3k life, you are probably going to get stunned a lot, and a chunk of survivability comes from the life on hit from claws. Not getting stunned is one of the most underrated ways to stay alive in this game.

Personally, I think you guys should be trying to fit some cluster jewels into your characters, because thats what the league is about, and there are some very nice ones out there. I'd give up some damage or something on the tree to try some of them out.

finally managed to beat uberelder for the first time and i just have to farm 2 more watchstones for awakening lvl 8. i guess im almost done this league :)

the only megalomaniac i managed to find that had martial prowess and unspeakable gifts. dunno if its actually needed or anything but i felt like the explosions worked very well for mapping!

Just make sure you're using Molten Shell on CD and Vaal Molten shell on CD too. it's an essential part of this build's defense. You're pretty much invincible while VMS is up. I always tend to use VMS once or twice in the map and try to have it up for the boss as well as Vaal Haste. For bosses make sure you're dropping your totems. It makes a big difference until you're really geared and leveled to around 88.
Does anyone know for sure if the increased damage from Low Tolerance applies to BOTH poisons when dual-wielding and attacking a non-poisoned target with Viper Strike?

Just to get some clarification about "Low Tolerance" cluster notable for everyone:
+8% to Damage over Time Multiplier for Poison
Poisons you inflict on "non-Poisoned Enemies" deal 300% increased Damage

This notable has very little or none impact on the damage vs bosses.
After you inflict first poison on the enemy, this clause "on non-Poisoned Enemies" doesn't match so notable doesn't work anymore.

Purpose of it is to speed up mapping, basically allowing you to one tap packs and move on.

Yes, for Viper Strike it counts for both poisons, since they apply at the same time.

Can someone help me check my build? My Poison Damage is nowhere near the actual build's damage.

Hey, I just saw your PoB mactomm1, I think you can change a couple of things around to gain even more damage. Specifically the top jewel slot, you can go from the right side to get the int instead of dex and you can skip blade barrier to go for swift venoms. If after that you have the much needed int you can also skip Primal Spirit. Soul Raker would have to go too but overall it would net you about 2m shaper dps.
