I think there is a bigger issue with the Archnem mods than just stacking Penetration... I was goofing around with double curse using both Elemental Weakness and Conductivity to reduce their Resists by quite a bit and nothing changed with these mobs.

There is something drastically broken with the Archnem Mods and their Resistances. I am not exaggerating when I say mobs with these Archnem Mods go from instantly dying to taking 5+ minutes to kill if you can even kill them depending on the mob.
To all those guys saying this is not a league start build

I am level 83 rn, and I played this build from the second Sentinel started, it was a horrible experience because GGG Fucked Up big time. It took me a lot of deaths and frustration to reach maps. But believe me I maybe bought total max 10c worth of gear and was doing white maps fine. Now I farm and doing early yellow maps. Please follow the quick guide for leveling (link at the start of this thread) and when rich use POB to switch to Min/Max version of tree.

TLDR: Build is fine for leaguestart use the quick guide, and GGG made rares stronger than map bosses, every build was struggling until recent patches.

Also @oestergreen if you can pleaes updated your POB with that endurance charge cluster setup? I lost that POB :( you should make it default bro

I doubt there's anyone who follow the guide and think this isn't able to league start :) Considering the guide has been running since 3.5 and we're now in 3.18... that's a lot of league starts and the only "balance" difference from 3.17 to 3.18... is literally the arch-nem mods, since no actual balance changes was made to skillgems or the skilltree, so it should be pretty obvious that some people are just frustrated with the poorly balanced arch-nem mods, while others don't seem to find them a big issue (looking at the discord for the guide, there seem to be plenty lightning trappers farming as usual and not seeming to have any big issues).

So it's more likely a combination of not entirely following the guide AND also having a wacky arch-nem balance, which GGG is seemingly anyway fixing atm, since they're releasing patches every other day, trying to fix the current issues with the archnem mods :)
The start was rough but I only blame the league mech and my casual skill issue, currently I'm level 88 doing tier 12+ rare maps with sentinel mods and I'm swiping like a mad man.
You people need to have more patience,
got gear by this order which boosted me the f out every time
6k ES>vaal discipline>freeze immunity flask>shav>chayula=not even 1 ex!

And after 2 day of casually farming maps I managed to get the game changer which is the recover on block shield (lucky me it also had an open suffix to add 5% block craft), its a must have in the current state of the game and for 10c you can get a "bad" one at a cost of your 200 ES and 10c.

League starting this build is not that bad, just need to prioritize more on the tanky-ness this time. I would recommend following the tanky version of the PoB skill tree, the clear is still good anyway.

I bought a shaper-base shield very early in the league this time for 10c, crafted ES% on block within 100 alts, really saved me a lot tbh.

Yes, dying much more often to this league, but this is all attributed to the core changes to the game (archnemesis mods). So as players we just have to suck it up and adjust our builds accordingly, its not that bad.

Keep the complaints going though, need to make sure GGG gets the message ;)

Hi. Did 3.18 has any info on monster buff? I play a few games in delve. Previously it was a relax games in 3.17, but now i need to be careful as monster buffed with charges hitting me with numbers of curses, spells like ice wall in same level. The monsters are harder to kill too.
Hi, Loving the build so far, I was just wondering if what the use of the stone golem is.

I have made the switch to LL now, and I know it gives a good chunk of life regen that is converted to ES regen and it taunts, but I am finding myself have to constantly resummon after every pack as it just dies at Gem lv 14.

Is there an alternative or something else that I can use in that socket?

Build is 100% a viable and good Leaguestart... The problem is nothing was really a good league start this league with the exception of a couple builds because GGG screwed the pooch so hard.

I am currently level 90 using this guide and even with all the issues it works. Every Hotfix they do makes the build and game feel like 500x better also.

It's to soak some damage. For it to be tanky level up to 20, then sell to vendor witht 1 gcp and get 20% quality lvl1 gem. It will get way more tanky with time.
