Does that mean Wicked Pall is a better choice instead of Circling Oblivion for medium cluster jewels? Or is having two Wicked Pall nodes enough in the dual cluster jewel setup?

I have a mix. I have 3 Circling Oblivion and 3 Wicked Palls in my 14 Large/Medium nodes.

With the change to Circling Oblivion this league, is there any way to get skill duration increase so that we don't have to continually cast BV?

Wicked Pall / Misery Everlasting help. With that plus Malevolence / Entropy(passive tree) / Unleash you shouldnt have to cast BV too often.

Well if you really want skill duration, maybe. Personally i think wicked pall in each large cluster jewel is fine. Circle Oblivion in general though, after nerfs, is not worth it at all after you got some damage. Getting more ailment duration doesnt do anything to me, so Haemorrhage, Wasting Affliction, Wicked Pall are better options.

If I have Asenath but I don't have the explody chest, can I use two Iron Cold Point or will I still need one Bino's?
I have been using Withering Step on my left mouse key while leveling.

Do I remove that gem entirely from the build when I take the Mistwalker ascendancy?

Apparently the explosion from asenath and an explody chest stack but I doubt if you really need it. Most packs already explode as soon as I touch a few of them and on bosses the explody chest doesn't really do anything. In my opinion, the explody chest is more of a gimmick for this build than that you really need it.

So, 2x CIP + Asenath is fine.
You don’t stop playing because you grow old, you grow old because you stop playing.
Double-Explosion can be nice, but it depends on the content you're doing. If you wanna do 100% delirium maps as main content or go deep-delving, it's worth a few ex. Especially since it's so easy and cheap to craft this league.

Btw., little tip for you all: Don't be shy to switch a few talent-points or gear depending on the content you're doing. If you got high-end-gear, your damage is more than enough. If you want to speed-farm your maps, you could always switch out your second CIP for a mistwall and put 2 talent points near "Heart of Oak", for another 4% movement speed with a Thread of Hope. That would give you 20% more movement speed modifier.

Also, don't forget to set implicits on your cluster jewels (or synthesize them) with Harvest crafting. There are a lot of useful implicits like "10% to avoid being ignited".

heres my current state.... now wheres my next realistic upgrade...

already using a malevolence DOT/precision multi watchers eye. I suppose i could finish crafting the second GG dagger too but thats currently my WIP.
Ok so this kind of continues something I brought up last night. Pre-coralitos, I’m at an 82% chance to poison. There’s one more poison wheel on the tree near the top next to the chaos damage wheel. Does anyone spec into these nodes for fights like sirus or shaper when we are flask starved during the fight to get closer to 100%? I’m kind of running my own tree, grabbing a couple extra life wheels instead of rushing for the 2nd cluster while I level up to mid-high 90s to remain a bit tanky for things like delirium, full bore timeless encounters, etc. I also take wind dancer because that feels like an extremely OP node to grab. I cover all the applicable crit points on tree, have the big chaos wheel and also take a couple extra tree jewels where I can get them for 2 sometimes 3 points. These are crucial for resistance balancing for me while I work on the rest of my gear. My question got a little blurred, but what do you guys think of dropping some points to get closer to 100% poison for single target bosses such as Sirus and Shaper?
We use every node in the skill tree to buff our poison dmg, so i think it's unnecessary to ask, if we need a 100% chance to poison.

You usually apply 30 poisons per 4 seconds (="recently"). With 80% poison chance, it's only 26, and in addition you don't have 150% increased poison duration via Ascendency, but only 130%.

Or, to make it more clear: with good gear, you can easily do 20m Shaper DPS and 50m map-clear-dps with poison. With 80% chance to poison it's 4m Shaper DPS less / 10m map-dps less.

You should btw exchange your "Maelström Slayer"-Jewel for a Thread of Hope. This way you'd get another 10% chance to poison via Swift Venoms
Yes but doesn’t my corralitos put me at 100%? I didn’t think a lot of people take the poison wheel im taking about. Thread of hope seems like a good idea. Thanks for that tip. I’m just worried about resistances.
