But apparently not the duration of the reactive chill. (It does not seem to be affected by the gems quality bonus, skill effect duration passives, or the increased duration support gem)

@ GGG:

Removing the Movement Speed quality bonus and adding Duration is bullshit.
Duration is a bad joke and pretty much only beneficial in pvp.....maybe.

This skill lost all of its character with the 2.0 changes. Now almost any build can use a >=20 level AA with ease. It is no longer build defining or more useful if you build around it.
Prior to 2.0 you got more out of this skill the more you "invested" into using it, now we just mindlessly level it up and even a pure STR or pure DEX char can "opt in" at literally any time if they wish to sacrifice some of their mana reservation.

2/10 guys. (0/10 if there was no reactive chill)

It's not a 13 week development cycle, it's a 13 week supporter-pack cycle.
You can play any build you want, as long as it's the current meta.

That is because Chill is a status ailment, and they never benefit from Skill Duration. They have their own modifiers on the tree/gear.
(duration is super useless, ground ice lasts so long already! :/ )

Does flickerstrike count as being stationary? You don't leave chilled ground between hops like you do with leap slam.

Good call. I got myself confused because it is an explicit skill effect with a duration.
You always seem to know mechanics so well, thank you :)

Its a pure dex gem. Pure dex builds are SUPPOSED to get the most out of it.
the NEW AA makes the most sense for an evasion, Acrobatics dex build.

I "don't" think so. Its a movement skill. Anyone have a good idea how we could test this?
It's lame that the quality bonus doesn't affect the chill duration when enemies hit you. Sure it's a status ailment, but it's being applied directly with a set duration and not based on damage like most chill effects.
Would be nice if it was slightly less reduced mana. Or slightly higher less damage taken.

It's still a great skill for 25% mana reservation. The only it could use is permanent damage reduction, not just while stationary...
