[3.13] Doomfletch Split Arrow Mines - Starter Viable - End Game Capable - High Damage, Low Budget
So, I've played this build in blight, cleared everything with it, absolutely loved it, but I skipped it in 3.10. Were there any major changes aside from the barrage nerf? Also I still wonder how much are the HoP & other nerfs going to hit this build. Would love to start with it and rush everything ASAP. I'm a little worried that with the nerfs, a8 red maps might be just a little too much for this now.
Also, were you tinkering with the cluster jewels? Would love to get some info on that. |

Circle of guilt nerfed at herald of purity aspects ( yea, read patch notes, I hope, it opens up other possibilities. I had this build in mind at the last season but I did not have "balls" to go vs ultraagressive delirum mechanics, its so good that I found this guid and I do not have to invent " a wheel" .

Circle of Guilt and Herald or Purity nerfs are minimal impact. If you have enough damage elsewhere, it's actually even a buff!
My Metamorph character gained 3% damage from the Herald change, my Delirium character lost 1%. As for circle of guilt, we only feel the mana reservation nerf, which can be worked around. We will now want to take the +50% physical damage roll on the ring, as that was equal to the buff effect pre nerf, and is now better. The "real" nerf will be the crit multi nodes on the tree, which I haven't had a chance to look at yet. But considering the multi nerfs are across the board to all crit builds, it's hard to count that as a real nerf to the build. In the end, the build will end up with more damage and more survivability than it had last league. We can take Rage and Berserk with the new rage keystone, we can take Wind Dancer with 2 points, and we can probably take advantage of one of the new warcries as well. Edit: Tree math done. We lose about 10% DPS from the tree changes. No biggie. We will more than make that up with other damage sources. I'll have a video out today or tomorrow going over all the changes to the build, and will have the text guide updated by launch! Last edited by BlaydeX15#6203 on Jun 17, 2020, 12:49:03 PM

Tentative new tree:
http://poeurl.com/cTDW Edit: don't use that tree. Use the one in the video or the build guide (once I update that tomorrow) Overall Losses: 8% life 1 less pierced target (2->1) Less Cold damage conversion (Small reduction in ability to freeze trash) Gains: 50 Rage from Chainbreaker 40 increased Strength from Timeless Jewel 1 Timeless Notable Ability to run Berserk Wind Dancer keystone 3% more damage Significantly reduced mine reservation (20% reduced -> 45% reduced), to offset loss of Mana regen from Chainbreaker Higher Accuracy from the tree Things are looking good! Edit: V2 of new tree is even better. Lol Last edited by BlaydeX15#6203 on Jun 18, 2020, 3:41:40 AM

Nice !
Perfect time for PoB ;) Thanks. |

Why are we running pain attunement in the new tree? Did we switch to low life and I just missed it?

" Guess he'll use that node to get Chainbreaker with the new Timeless Jewel. |
|
going from 2 pierce to 1 is a huge issue for clear IMO. it won't be as smooth as before.
|
|
" Yeah, we have options though. You can spend 2 more points to have 2 more pierce (3 total), or you can spend 2 points and go to Point blank, and keep the drillneck implicit for a total of 2. I'm leaving some QoL options open on the tree so you have some available points to do whatever. I'll play with 1 pierce and see how it goes, and update recommendations based off of that. |
|
I think that the pierce isn't a huge deal when it comes to clear. AoE was always the stronger part of this build anyway. The tree looks really solid. I'll be starting with this build and hopefully reach A8 by day 2 or 3, so I'll give you my insights afterwards.
