I appreciate the new changes for this league, however the one thing that confuses me, is why is the quest rewards, which have brands... why are the witches getting them and not the Templar?
No offense, but the Templar has always had their skill tree set up mainly for brands and/or totems. Yet I am seeing the new brands (which I really want) are only quest rewards for witches? to me makes no sense at all. Please enlighten me GGG as to why you went that route. Maybe i dont want to play a witch this league. Seems a tad bit unfair as that regard. Though some options are still available to the Templar, I am not seeing the logic in giving them to a witch, who is a spellslinger, not a brand slinger. The reason why i am mentioning this, is because of the hierophant ascendancy. Several keystones allow you to use more brands and you have the option of using like 4 different brands and i was looking very forward to making a brand league starter. But it seems that I am being pushed into making a witch in order to get the brands i want. All I want to know is whats the reasoning behind this and also how to prevent me from making another character that i dont want to play. any info is helpful at this point, cause now it screws me over and not sure what to play now. |

Ohh, my starter build was destroyed. But still im hype! There was alot of interesting news i want to try. Who knows, may be this time i will stay to the end of the league! (last league played smth line 2/3 of ther time)
Thing's i love: 1. I alway love to crush, gonna try new 2h mechanics! 2. I see fireball+slower proc get buffed! I love this skill 3. Wings of entropy <3 4. Flame golems, here wo go again! :D 5. I love Oshabi look! It's my new WAIFU <3 And mechanics sound pretty interesting! And as always so much work from GGG, update grpahic, rebalance items, skill etc, new content. This changes to archmage support is super not needed and your over nerfing it! this support with basically be worthless I mean it already took a nice chuck of investment just to get it going good and not only that only a few skills could aptly support it. I could see nerfing brand as it only took the initial investment when starting a map to get it going but for anything else it was pretty hard to use. Not only this but you just killed a new and under developing play style of course it was going to be super popular, and everyone is going to try it. So instead of making it more viable for other builds to try you instead nerf it to kingdom come ?1??! does that make any sense? I mean you could give it Mana ramp up and make it cost more as you do more cast or casting longer so it could work for divine ire, arc, ball lightning, and other things that would want added lightning damage. Yet ya just flat out gave it smack into nope vile why?
