Content Update 3.12.0 -- Path of Exile: Heist
Can someone answer this for me, It used to be that hex master increases area of effect of curse skills now bane is has the hex tag it will still work but have they removed the area of effect from hexmaster? I was planning on league starting bane but without the AOE from hexmaster I might play something else for league start.
"The Hex Master cluster has moved to the left side of the tree, next to Disciple of the Forbidden. It now has 3 small passives before the notable. The entry passive now grants 5% increased Effect of your Curses. The two passives before the notable each grant 50% increased Doom gain rate. The notable now exclusively applies to Hex skills." "Only gems which are Curses will now have the Curse gem tag (ie. all Hexes and Marks). Skills which interact with Hexes and/or Marks will have the Hex and/or Mark tag, but will not have the Curse tag. Bane, for example, has the Hex tag but not the Curse tag, as it is not a Curse. As a result, modifiers to Curse skill gems will not affect skill gems like Bane." |

Now that Intensity mechanics can affect Projectile spells, the Intensity notable and small passives leading to it should
a) have Projectile bonuses added to them or b) be changed to non-area-specific bonuses. Beware of the man who works hard to learn something, learns it, and finds himself no wiser than before. He is full of murderous resentment of people who are ignorant without having come by their ignorance the hard way.

" Its absolutely not what he is saying. He say the last time he use this, even if the map had a "natural Blight" inside, it was still 1 blight MAX per map, so its +1 ONLY if you map have no Blight at first. so 0+1 = 1. But 1+1 = 1 in this case, So the Option became "wasted" if the map allready have a Blight inside. What i really don't like in this patchnote : Enfeeble : lose half of his "survavibility use", no longer reduce criticals in any form.... No a single change to the Occultist in an "Curse/Hex" improvement league ? Like nothing to go in this direction ? And you really think people are gonna use "1 mob marks" with those low number to justify socketting them with supports gems ? Vixen Entrapment gloves killed for Bane builds, like the only use of this Gloves was this.... (well Bane also kill, since is not even a curse now) No elementalist change at all in a League with new elemental skills ? About Zana Mods, could you specify what happen if the map allready had a natural Blight/Delirium encounter ? i guess the natural one is lost like Blight case if you pay the 8/16c price. Or would you roll another league mod instead ? Last edited by Bakudan#2344 on Sep 16, 2020, 4:48:18 AM

Idiots cry about nefing 2 ascendaries that was played by summary of 44% of players. Its obvious that this % of players was way too big, and those ascendaries are too powerfull. [Removed by Support]

" I dont think bane applies other doom since the curses from bane are not considered self-cast. Bane is (or was?) a curse by itself, but so far, not a hex, so no doom. Yup, they broke bane. Last edited by Alexandra_Momo#4012 on Sep 16, 2020, 2:45:23 AM

Ice storm seems to be weaker? Half as many hits per second, less duration, and 5 storm cap? Obviously you will hit the same target more often with a radius increase of initial hit yet the skill will still hit half as often. 100% nerf to CWC and CoC yet even a 'hand'cast character will do less sustained damage it seems. Hopefully I'm wrong and the mechanics carry it otherwise it is pretty odd
