Good mtx, i cant stand the base mtx of blade blast with the popping sound after hearing it for the million time in a single map

I actually switched to the base MTX afterwards, because I was having serious visibility issues with the MTX. It's pretty, but it's also distracting as hell (also had no problems with sounds, as I play with sound effects disabled :p)

#last update on build

Literally everything done with this build. Juiced delirious maps, all bosses, delving down to 350 depth, full clearing legions, snoozing while destroying blighted maps. Big thanks for Astarift for the build, it really shines.

Last upgrades were these two beauties:

I actually managed to break through 6k hp, and with better life rolls on the boots (absolutely doable with harvest) and hunter influence + aug life + decent luck on belt (to grab the #% increased maximum life), I'd could easily get to 6.2k HP. Resists were capped, but having low chaos res kinda made me stick with Atziri's Promise forever.

Maven kill video (not deathless, because the memory game is freaking retarded and you gotta pick a good position for the degen puddles):
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ElJqL9etDDY&ab_channel=piterisonfire

I was actually surprised that, for the most part, we can simply continue attacking and facetank her hits. You just gotta avoid the big things, like laser beams, huge flameballs being thrown at you, and the degen puddles.

100 to 0 in 12 seconds:

The damage of the build can get quite a bit higher than what I'm showing here. I missed 3 of the damage nodes on the tree (through the Thread of Hope) to get more survivability, so there's that.

To everyone thinking about trying this build: do it. I have 0 complaints about the entire experience.

I would agree on the survivability move, considering that the damage is still ridiculously good after the "nerf"

How the tailwind works with the build, is it worth it?

What about Maw of Conquest Steel Circlet? Is it better choice than rare helmet?
how are you getting such a high to hit % ?

i looked at the PoB and you have a level 8 precision and accuracy on the helm and that's all, and yet your hit % is 94

is there something else in the tree/gear giving you accuracy ?

is 94% enough ?

You don't need additional critical strike chance for spells, you need life, resists and the Spellslinger reduced mana reservation enchant. If you manage to cap your resistances and grab enough reduced mana reservation from other sources without a rare helmet slot, go for it.

Only thing that's affected by accuracy in this build is the Frenzy hit, and that's literally whatever. You just need to swing your wand to activate Poet's Pen and Spellslinger. Spells are a guaranteed hit.

You can also check all the accuracy he's getting from POB by going into Calculations and doing a mouseover on the Accuracy tab.

I dislike using too many uniques in a build, because it heavily limits gearing and reduces the amount of life you can push on your gear. Unless it gives an insane dmg boost/survival boost or something with not so high investment, its usually a nogo.
Maw of conquest requires you to invest into an additional jewel slot for golden rule, and end of the day it gives u just extra poison duration because you are applying more poison. It doesnt matter that much, because we already apply too much poison, longer duration isnt that important, we just want frontload damage.

As for the other stats, they are not impactful, because the only notable effect from that helm is unaffected by poison

You are better off with a rare helm, as much life as possible, as much res as possible. Spellslinger enchant is mandatory to run everything, you wont see much maw of conquest in the market with spellslinger enchant

Accuracy is pretty much unimportant in this build except to maintain frenzy charges

Was thinking here about potential endgame upgrades.

@Astarift, what are your thoughts on Torrent's Reclamation belt for this build? The added 20% action speed from the Greater Harbinger of Time is insane (20% attack, cast AND movement speed), and it also has 20% CDR. Using it would require an amulet with resists, so a simple +1 dex/physical skill gems with high life and resists could work. The loss of the crit chance from Ungil's Harmony is sad (goes from 55% to 25%), but the massive damage boost from the amulet's +2 lvls to bladeblast and proc speed from the belt should make it worth it. That should leave us with something like 5.6k HP and a shitload of increased movement speed and damage.

I dont really like the harbinger uniques because its auto casted proccs on fixed time intervals, you cant really force it to hold or happen. But changing the amulet to + skill gems seems ok-ish as an upgrade to get higher life and more customizability over an unique. So i would touch the amulet, but leave the belt untouched just because of consistency

Hi,

I upgrade a lot the build and it's really more fluid when i get tailwind on boot, i have actually 5,5k hp, i need to push to get 6 k (belt and 2 ring),

Actually i see you have no really recommend enchant on boot or gloves, is it usless ?
( I see that leafyr0kr have 0 enchant on boots and gloves too thats why i ask ^^ )

Did my up will be more significantly if i switch curse on hit with vulnerability into despair on my gloves ?

Hi, can someone check my profile and say what I need to improve next with 5 ex budget?

poe pen with increased area effect (1exa)
snakebite with vulnerabilyt on hit (1exa) or despair (4exa)
boots with decent carac and with tailwind( 3-4 exa)
Helmet with decent carac ( -15% reduced reservation spellslinger) (1-2 exa)
Ring shaper (vermillon) with life gain when spell hit (1exa with crafting)
