So I just got a random drop of "The Queen's Hunger Vaal Regalia" and was wondering if it was good for the build at all? I have the int to use it and it gives resists&dmg/block/MovementSpeed 1/3 of the time at random. Plus I can just use a steelskin CWDT + durations to also modify the offerings.
Just curious on thoughts about this. |

Hello, best build i've ever played!! (but my friends dosn't like it...)
I wanted to ask what is better in 3.13. heralds + precision or phantasmal haste. I've got the watscher eye with vit ofc and phasing + onshlaught on haste and I like it alot. +/- how much my dmg will change if i remove haste and add heralds? And what watcher eye will be the best then? |

Guys I can't tell you how happy I am for a friend refering me to this build to upgrade my poison BV starter... i love the build, it's the upgraded version as i don't have to keep casting the BV and all those shennanigans!! I love not having to press so many buttons xd

" Changing the amulet isn't going to be a good idea either, it'll like 1/2 your tornados per second since the reduced duration gets exponentially better as you get to a lower duration. I was thinking the way to go would be get a "unaffected by poison while affected by malevolence" but then I noticed malevolence increases skill effect duration. You'd probably have to check the POB, but unless you are willing to half your damage for the +600% to +1200% increased dmg and some extra movespeed, then I'd say it isn't worth it. Build is pretty fast as is and extra speed might just spread the tornados out more. |

" The additional defenses randomly seem nice, but the lack of base hp seems like youd be pretty low on hp, and CWDT steelskin only works for non-1 shots, which is the main problem, not positive how good itd be in that scenario, but might be ok if you aren't getting 1 shotted and want extra defense, another option would be sporeguard in that case as well would be similar. " Nice! " If you feel your damage is fine for your taste, stick with the haste, its only like an 8% increase using heralds instead. And the phasing is Super useful, If its not enough dps, the 2 heralds(agony+Purity) and precision will add a little boost, and that case the only other watcher eye mods we'd benefit from would be the % life leech on vitality, and the crit multi precision. You can change the tornado's to Spark Spiders now as of 3.13, makes it wayy more group friendly |

" Yeah, the spark spider MTX is super huge now for visibility, makes the build alot more appealing to play, as one of its main downfalls, is now pretty much non-existent with the MTX. For performance, im assuming you already messed with ur graphics settings and turning down like shadows/bloom, Try turning down all the way your ambient volume and music volume, it helps me atleast. the Self poison meta... ive thought about this for awhile now... While it WOULD be more damage to use it i believe, it would probably feel worse due to what Dwoops said, losing that 15% reduced skill duration, is effectively cutting our proc rate in half, so youd have to more than double the damage, to accommodate that. This isnt even including that we'd effectively be at 4 procs a second, which doesnt feel the greatest, as we are moving at 200% movespeed ALREADy, plus the extra movespeed from the self poison, there would be some noticeable gaps in the tornados, and we might not clear as well. Supaspork, how much average hit dmg do you think would be needed for a non-poison tornado build.
I had a random idea so I played around with a pure phys projectile version on PoB and got the average hit to around 150k dmg (with amazing gear) and around 95-105k with only mediocre gear. This is also with using very base jewels so there is room for improvement. I bet I could get it up to 200k with some work. (Also it has a 45+% chance to deal double dmg, I don't know if PoB takes that into consideration). So with your estimate of 4-5 hits per second from the tornado, that'd be about 500k - 1M dps per tornado. The build gets 6-8 tornados (depending on awakened GMP and scion vs deadeye) per trigger instead of the 5-6 of this build. Same setup so it doesn't touch the number of triggers per second. Also this build idea uses snipers mark(triggers on hit), so it makes stupid numbers of projectiles against bosses. Also if you get something like a metamorph into a small room, then things just get insane. Think this is at all reasonable for end game content? |
