Game Balance in Path of Exile: Ultimatum

Can honestly say after last league, then 3 races, then Ritual, I was pretty low ebb at the end of Ritual League.

Ritual itself was garbage, the only good thing was all the Atlas changes and Harvest. At least with Legion, Blight, Syndicate etc etc, there was an end game activity that occurred from running said content, be it Safehouses, Blighted Maps, or Domain of Timeless conflict.

They all had new unique items, powerful, interesting chase items it was worth sinking countless hours into farming. Ritual? no.

The idea that next league is some more Ritual, major sad pants. The idea that I have to face levelling through the acts....boring, unlocking my atlas (maps) tedium, unlocking Rogues, leveling up rogues, booooring. and now unlocking the Atlas passives again on top of all that, well lets just say I was wavering on the precipice of saying farewell to PoE.

Now I come here and read all this (from the Devs) and its the final nail, I simply cannot muster any sort of enthusiasm for Ritual 2 with path of nerfs and path of ever increasing repetition, and of course lets not forget path of bugs, path of crashing, and path of tedium.

So farewell PoE devs, I spent my money, I had my fun, thank you for the hard work.
At first I was sad because of the harvest nerfs and the elitist 1% on their high horses because it actually affected me as a casual gamer with a life, house, kids and wife.

Now that map duping is dead, duping 6 link white socket item is dead, self curse is dead, carrion golems are dead, deep devling is dead..... I am happy sitting on my high horse as none of that affects me.

Sits with my popcorn, so much salt.. sooo soooooooo much salt lol

Seems like they interpret Hardened Scars like the name they give. You need scar to harden, without scars no more harden. This make sense if you are wounded and recover with potions you need an appropriate temporany defence if you have it while full-life that defence is no more temporany.

But we are lucky, we are in the Emo era, where you cut yourself to feel pain relief. So if we constantly spend life to use skills, and have enduring potion we have a really high uptime of fortify. So to answer, everyone use new blood skills will use Hardened Scars!



you don´t realize that the point is not to die for one shot , you not use the keystone to have fortify when you are healing, you use it to mitigate the dmg you get when you are not a melee build
I'm getting tired of this chain of nerf after nerf after nerf... Learn to design a game please.

So we get a Vaal League but no new Vaal skills since what, 3.4? GGG, you have introduced how many skills since then? I think you missed a great chance to update some skills in Ultimatum.
Dunno what to play anymore :D
In order to get rid of clearspeed meta cap global movement speed at 100% but make all skills instant so everything feels great.
When are you going to make it that rare items can only be mirrored once?

Why does the top 0.1% still get to make all the riches from mirrors?

You're limiting split and fractured items, now time to limit mirror items the same way.

It will really level the playing ground when it comes to end game items.

BRING BACK THE HIERO TOTEM ASCENDS!!! The previoues nerf was too unnecessary since totems are poorly picked already
