Game Balance in Path of Exile: Ultimatum

Physical Explosion Body Armours
Influence and Synthesis modifiers that caused enemies killed to explode dealing physical damage will no longer have a 100% chance to apply. Their replacement modifiers grant "Enemies you Kill have a chance to Explode, Dealing a tenth of their Life as Physical Damage", with a new lower tier Influence mod being introduced that has a lower chance. This keeps the mechanic and opens up the possibility of stacking explode chance with high investment, but it will no longer reliably wipe out packs of monsters through a chain reaction of explosions.

If everyone uses one defensive mechanic, you could nerf it into the ground... or you could have the imagination to develop some new ones, or even just fix the ones no one is using.

Honestly, I don't get this one...
You will remove the mission sustain from the Awakening objectives (honestly, we'll get to a point where AO will be completely pointless at this rate...) making it harder to sustain, forcing a player to engage other content (which I get it, the reworks could be GOOD for the first time ever...) so we no longer have control over what content we want to run just for the sake of "it was too good to be true"... Maybe I'm too way forward to complain but I hope this doesn't break the system because if I run off of missions from a certain Master and is a pain in the ass to sustain them, then the change will be broken and not beneficial at all.


You shouldn't be able to sustain master missions, certainly if you're only focusing one 1 master. That was never their intention to begin with. The reason why they have removed them from awakening bonuses is because we get buffs to the chance of receiving a master mission from the new atlas passive trees now, and we don't need both. To be honest, this should help you as you only tend to focus on 1 master. Maybe if you ran other master missions aswell, then you'd be able to see higher sustain.

Path of nerfs again. Harvest gutted, benchcrafts nerfed, and now we have balance changes full of nerfs. Also, the new league mechanic looks the same as the last one. Some minor improvements to old content don't really compensate all that.

Any good news though? No? None?
