I hardly ever take the time to write anything on these forums, I just play the game and buy packs to support a game i love.

This is the first patch ever where I in addition to seeing improvements to the game see the potential for its demise.

I dont mind the numerinc nerfs, it will be more fun when the end game is not play a AoE build that kills Sirius phases in sub 1 second...

The removal of the flask piano is a good thing also, it will make flasks something you use rather than passive buffs.
It would be fun to remove bleed before you die if you could see the bleed more clearly, and something you could do to help with that is make us able to modify the UI so we can chose for example where we have the debuffs.

The part of the rework of the game that i strugle with is all the changes to mana use and mana cost. It will be the biggest issue and sadly i think this will put a large part of the comunity off. Obviuesly the changes are coming but look at this and concider the effect on low tier players.

The people who are going to be effected the most by these changes/nerfs [Removed by Support]: those who run around with packs of minions killing everything. Those who aren't familiar with the game/boss mechanics.

Will this be the downfall of poe? Who knows, definitely not you. Just remember, In every single update since the games inception there are absolute wizards out there finding ways to make builds that obliterate the game.

My advice, set some sort of goals in the beginning and stick to them. Try to get to lvl 100, make your own build without following a guide, try to get a Mirror or a Headhunter.

Lastly, if you are still undecided on which build to play, consider essence drain contagion/bane or ANY poison build.

Very bad changes, esp nerfs to defenses
