" You're wrong. Total number *per region* remains the same. Which is a huge nerf for atlas farming. Last edited by Dex#5296 on Oct 15, 2021, 12:28:57 PM

So i read the notes and i can see a lot of work went into it.
I like many of the changes, but one thing has been burning out my eyes. WHY the hell, are you removing all the maps with good fun layouts??? *insert sad face here Maps like beach, ice berg, burials, shipyard, just to name a couple. Please reconsider some of these...! Hard to imagine which good maps are even left-.- Otherwise, good work given the monstrous amount of changes. |

" Where does it say total number per region remains the same? |

In one of the podcasts Chris said something like this:
"What most people mean by good layout is that they can run straight from the beginning to the end" It's obvious that he's right. It's also obvious, that that's not a "good layout". It's for people who would rather have a spreadsheet simulator than a game, where you have to interact with things. |

" yeah except movement skills like to get stuck on invisible hit boxes and normal walking speed is a crawl so just traversing non-linear maps is as painful as pulling teeth. Well for melee characters who use shield charge, whirling blades or leap slam. Not to mention dash is next to useless now until you get to end-game and build into it which is expensive. |

" Yes, the loss of most of my favorite maps is really the only specific thing I dislike here. Sometimes looking at "what is the most popular" as a target for balance decisions is not the best idea. It's not always broken and in need of adjustment. Every so often it's simply a pleasurable play experience, and nothing more driving the players to it. Of particular note, I find a great many league mechanics don't function well in tight areas. Last edited by Sabranic_SilverDeth#2793 on Oct 15, 2021, 1:09:58 PM
