[3.27] The dirty Scorpion-Tail|Herald of Agony| Chaos-Cyclone-Necro|The Arachnophobia Allstars 276M

Well build can be looks fine espeacially, i tried to built low budget form of this build but it is really hard to play until you can buy the gems from NPC.

I will start chemo because of build and if it is not turn to be good times, this build will be the build which make me leave from POB completely...

I hope i can to be cancer in early and then it can be turn to be healing after all.

If it is not please tell me to stop and i will go build my 2 years ago builds, they can make more fun
Thanks for the build!
It's my second time playing it and I can't play anything else now :D
First time I played it I hit a wall - didn't have any currency to make progress with items and have fun while doing it - I was pretty tanky and did some damage but not even close to what I had on my pcoc of bouncing pathfinder at the time.

This league I actually got lucky and dropped a hinekora's lock running low level maps and got a headhunter in ultimatum, all while spinning along our scorpion friend.

I've bought some items for the build, but currently can't figure out how I'd go from 15(19 while switching fork for vicious proj) mill to 200 in your pob. Link to my current pathfinder - https://pobb.in/as_0OsN6vMhD

I know that I can switch a few jewels for better ones and also craft/buy better clusters, but I don't see it making that much of a difference in terms of damage. What am I missing?

Also haven't done Lycia (haven't done any sanctum runs before, except for poe2), but that's on my list. Currently using breach bloodline to have phys and fire damage reductions.

*Edit:

Also haven't tried other ascendancies since I moved from toxic rain to pcoc and then to hoa all while playing pathfinder - what do you recommend with my current setup and about 50 divs to spare? Should I switch to another class? I like having flask all the time, but manually using curses is killing me and I was thinking about switching to necro for inbuilt chaos conversion on hoa to take autocursing gloves, but I'm not sure if giving up on inbuilt mageblood is worth it for autocurses.

So many things to consider, really love the build for this.

Hehehe, thank you a lot too Nashirama!

Your damage will scale fast up with mainly the 5-7 boosts:

+ HoA-tipping-lvl 34
+ 1 more #5p-voices, 3 more medium clusters pure agony
+ and the Crit-HoA scaling for burstdamage on thougher bosses with Spirit offering, Assassin's mark and Maata's Teaching.
+ a source of HoA-frenzy charges like the chieftain-spectres
+ a source for more hexes like the AG with helmet Ylfeban's Trickery
+ better small clusters (35% increased effect, t-1 suffixes)
+ the tattoos to free up passives

■ The Maths of HoA ■

Spoiler

■ A Starter-HoA-Lvl 21 gem deals 51-94 flat Phy-Dmg +9% Inc. Dmg. +5% ATS per one virulence.
At basic low 40 virulences that’s 2040-3760 flat Phy-Dmg + 360% Inc. Dmg + 200% ATS.

■■ A typical Allstars-HoA-Lvl 34 gem deals 168-312 flat Phy-Dmg, +12% Inc. Dmg., +6% ATS per one 1x virulence.
At typical default 98x virulences in cheap gear like HoA gem quality 20%, ashes amulet and 9x medium clusters pure agony, that’s 16464-30576 flat Phy-Dmg, +1176% Inc. Dmg, + 588% ATS to be scaled up further.

8 x

■■■ Compared to HoA-lvl 20 in slow 40 virulences our default HoA-lvl 34 in 98 counted virulences octuplicate and eightfold the HoA-basedamage to be upscaled further with our long row multiplicators.

You have build up good the auras and keygear already. You miss only unaffected by poison on new rare boots, used against the golden rule's hundreds reflected poisons in high density, and more chaos-resis on the circle of nostalgia. Woooow, that's a well done helmet!

Congrats to your awesome drops!
In average every 3th league I would guess some early nice drops make the gearing much, much faster. Also with the increasing experiences currency is much easier to detect, to craft or to farm. The atlas-tree and currency-strats are a science on their own. This league for most gear only a few chaos are needed, thats more fun with the new trading. And it seems to me that much less price-fixers are strolling around. Most expendive wss my watcher's eye for 4 div, Ashes for 2 div including charisma, and one ghastly jewel 100c. Nothing else needed div-currency in my gear until now.

To choose the fitting ascendancy is always a though choice.
This league the much in qol buffed, now reviving spectres are easy and interesting to optimize, especially as Necro.
But the guardian is strongest for is own aura-stacking and the trickster remains most relaxing and tanky.
And there are so many interesting and fitting bloodlines further.

I am myself the typical 1 char each league-player, so I would keep the pathfinder. He has the flexible belt and flask, or the flexible jewel-slots. That's strong too and has the fun of much flexibility. Spectres can be easy built in too with a well rolled minion-resis shaper bone-ring as pathfinder.

But yes, Tricksters, Guardians and Necros are a bit better optimized especially in lategame when you want to switch to a mageblood-belt.

Take a look into the updated actual necro-pob. I'll update the pathfinder-pob (and other ascendancies) in a few days too with more auras outsourced on the spectres, and outsourced hexes on the AG and and a fitting shaper-bone-ring.

I send best wishes to you!

Yes, a little bit currency is needed for starting the build. Watcher's eye es and life gained on hit i.e. is probably most expensive, around 4 div, and it`s needed around t15 - t16.
You need a lucky drop or farm a bit blight for the 4 divs, then after you can start the more difficult strategies.

Overall all other stuff is quite cheap this league. I guess I went with around 7-8 div spent into my first t-17 maps.

Hi, usually posting in Scion forums, as I went with scion, but I'm not sure what am I doing wrong? defense wise I'm doing good, but dmg wise it seems like too little, when I copied my items and skills in PoB it shows mby like 2.5mil dmg, but with that dmg it took me like 50mins to kill sirus, cuz I lack dmg and I can't understand why. I could tank him almost forever, but very low dmg.

this is my char

As far as I see you do not use the jewel the golden rule!
So you will not get the needed doubled full HoA-virulences against singletargets.

When I import your char with the default configurations (HoA-tail attack, withers) Pob shows 12M, with bloodline-configs (curse-effects, chaotic might, profane ground, malediction) 22M.

That is not optimal. Mainly you miss the 3 medium clusters pure agony. Your HoA lvl 35 is good, 80% poisonchances for virulences should be okay, but 100% poisonchances with purifying flame of revelation are better and result into 40% more HoA virulences.

When you outsource 2-3 auras on spectres, you should have enough capacity to take in the 2-3 more medium clusters.

In these days the "Total Tank Necro Hybrid poison-hoa"-pob is best optimized:
https://pobb.in/3bdCXXcq

I worked a lot on the guide, and Scion-pob etc. I`ll optimize in a few days.
Going without spectres work alternative easy too, but with their qol-buff they are strong for discipline, frenzy charges and vitality and have also as Scion enough own resis.

Your phys max hit taken probably needs a buff, take a look into "checklist stats" for higher --> "flat dr".

With your Maata`s Teaching use Spirit Offering and Assassin`s Mark, then you are reaching already 35M, with 3 more medium clusters you will reach already 60M and more.

Great belt and helmet, looks overall good! But you need the golden rule and more medium clusters and when you scale the crits you need spirit offering and assasin's mark for the high burstdamage.
