Content Update 3.20.0 -- Path of Exile: The Forbidden Sanctum
Just thought I'd post some feedback:
No ascendancy changes/Balance changes/crafting changes make this a real hard league to try to play. Please consider going forward. Good luck to everyone next league |

Vaal Venom gyre has no place on that Vaal list ( Melee skill that where underwhelming were suposed to be there) not Venome gyre make no sence. Whenre Vaal heavy strike / Static strike you know skill that are used at 0.0001% of the time smh... Otherwise its sounds cool.

why don't you remove hextouch completely? who would use hextouch if supported curses have 35% less effect

" Is not the move skill bind, now step cant by used again until Elusive effect ends...in other words 7-10 seconds. all Builds based on Witherin De-buff with withering step are virtually DEATH (like 13 builds in total) Good game GGG, u kill 13 builds in the way to try nerf 1 single build....again. Is very SAAAAAAADge Last edited by arbitre#2200 on Dec 2, 2022, 10:56:14 AM

" Do you actually know how Elusive from withering step works? As long as you are not generating elusive from other sources - elusive from step dissapears when you use a skill. Think before you write something. |

Spectral Helix:
Big nerf but understandable. Will still do lots of damage with ele buzz saw playstyle and lots of attacks speed. Lightning Conduit: Makes sense as well. Moderate nerf. Will still do lots of damage on Elementalist and schock effect scaling. Hexblast: Massive nerf. Not only the numbers but also destroying the playstyle of lingering Curses (with doom) and blasting them off after a short time for massive damage. Damage is now less than half with 40 max doom and even less with 50+ doom. Masterpiece of 3.16 lore "A mysterious figure appears out of nowhere, trying to escape from something you can't see. She hands you a rusty-looking device called the Blood Crucible and urges you to implant it into your body." Only usable with Ethanol Flasks Last edited by gandhar0#5532 on Dec 2, 2022, 11:29:19 AM

Excited to try the new mechanic, and overall happy with the manifesto. Some nerfs, sure, like always, some smaller buffs, which I do not much care about.
Only the "more boss damage from curses", that might feel nice and make dual cursing more intresting. Sad thing, that a lot of intresting helm enchantments where removed (why??) and some of the jewels (also no clue why) I am also missing buffs to deterministic crafting, the fracture currency might be nice, but depends on availability/price I guess (also has been removed from harvest) At least harbingers might be worth it again. No essence on kirac also means less crafting possibilities, and as said harvest was not buffed either. The new atlas tree might be intresting, but I fear my boss killing strat might not work anymore because it seems you said something about removing the special boss drops from the atlas tree, but we'll see! |

See you next Fri. Hyyyyype! :D

What about new&improved Grand Spectrums? They are not mentioned in the patch notes. Does that mean they are being removed, a league after they were changed? Aren't they both very rare (lab-only) and highly desirable?
It's just an oversight. Right? Can someone from GGG please clarify! | |
Of course there's gotta be a change to Inquisitor again. Just as I was re-building my standard Inquisitor to meet the loss of Ailment Immunity. Now I have to yet again invest in Curse Immunity AND aliments. I get less damage from enemies on conc effect, I get less regen from the conc effect...
Why nerf Inquisitor instead of buffing other Ascendancies? You said you weren't afraid of some sort of power creep. Clearly you could've made other Ascendancies better with that kind of mindset. And while we're at it: Why don't you just put the Regen also applies to ES effect on other sources, like you did with Battlemage.. Just strip every bit of Identity from Ascendancies. You did well giving him a clunky feature with Battlemage+Fanaticism (at least we got that new Spell that could be interesting in that regard) and you could've done even better by keeping his theme around consecrated ground. Yet here we are, taking it away again bc apparently it is too nice to have.. |
