This actually makes sense, as it doesn't require the servers to run anything for players that are logged off; only when they log in does it have to bother doing anything. So this'll be what to expect here: in spite of being down, it'll effectively count as if it'd been running for those four hours, and adjust the moment you log in after the patch.


That makes sense actually it's most likely doing a server time check each time you log in which would take into account the time different between current time to last login and adjust accordingly.

i understand why the patch needs to happen before the poe2 beta but i am not realy happy that it is at prime EU evening gaming hours first week of a league/event

It's impossible to please everyone. It's always going to coincide with someone doing something, go outside or something
fuckn hell, n the middle of my playtime, i know 9am is convenient for nz but ... you will have your other reasons.
