Stun / Heavy stun should not knockback enemies

Stun / Heavy stun should daze enemies in place, or knock them on the ground, the knockback on heavy stun in bad since it's used mostly by melee, and stunning them moves them out of range.
A fact is a statement that can be supported to be true or false by data or evidence. In contrast, an opinion is a personal expression of a person’s feelings or thoughts that may or may not be based in data.

As a melee player, I too have to agree that it has to be reduced for melee attacks. So often I have missed damage opportunities because the enemy gets knocked back and it has a short Heavy Stun.
+1
Seriously this is so frustrating.

Melee is already bad enough. Melee worse in PoE2 than it is in PoE1 lol like what??

Had this happen against a rare with the drain mana/electric damage ring. The knock back from heavy stun drained all of my mana.
+1, at least with melee skills. Any time you Heavy Stun an enemy with a melee skill, the enemy's animation should place them within Mace Strike range.

All the movement skills have slow wind-ups, so it feels bad to use them against a Heavy Stunned enemy to get a smidge closer... And the two main movement skills on Mace are your big Stunning skills. Isn't it awkward that you want to use a movement skill directly after your movement skill?

Having to walk a couple feet to use Mace Strike on Heavy Stunned enemies feels lame.

Holding left click to Mace Strike an enemy and missing because they're sliiightly out of range is profoundly unsatisfying.

Shield Charge knocking all the goobers I just Heavy Stunned out of range is unsatisfying.

Using rolling slam, the first slam caused heavy stun, and the knockback of that slam caused the second slam to miss.
So you are saying you want melee to actually be playable?

You know, when I played mercenary crossbows, it actually had better stun buildup than melee.

Could be the vision.
