It has been 24 days, and I’m still left wondering about my situation. I purchased a supporter pack along with a key for Early Access. However, after my account was hacked—apparently due to a social engineering breach where someone gained access to an admin account at GGG (confirmed in the Tavern Talk Podcast, though I’m puzzled why there hasn’t been an official announcement yet)—my account has been locked for over 24 days.
According to the information provided, the breach occurred through an old Steam account of Customer Support, compromised via Steam Support. The attacker managed to provide enough information to gain access to the account, leading to the compromise of 66 accounts within 5 days of logging, with an unknown number of accounts affected before that. At this point, I sincerely hope that everyone impacted by this issue, myself included, will receive a prompt and fair resolution. |

I am writing to follow up on the lockout issue after my account was compromised due to a vulnerability in the game’s system, leading to unauthorized access. After I reported the incident,
my account was locked to prevent further damage and allow for investigation, which is understandable. However, it has now been over a month (44 days) since the account was locked, and I still cannot access it. I understand that the investigation is ongoing, but the fact that many other users, including myself, are still facing account lockouts for more than a month is very frustrating. The vulnerability in the game’s system, which led to the hack, seems to have been the root cause, and it’s disheartening to see so many victims facing prolonged lockouts with little to no updates or communication from your team. In light of this, I respectfully request an update on when I can expect my account to be unlocked and whether any compensation or remedial measures are being considered for those affected by this breach.
