Fix SSF

The easy "trading" mode has been hilariously illustrated by the most famous troll who RMTed an immortal build that one-shots everything in the game.

You could fix SSF by :
- drastically increase currency drop rates, allowing ssf players to gamble for their gear. This would just cause inflation in the easy mode, but the "economy" will continue to be bot/RMT driven without any change to it, just as you want it.
- drastically increase the lowest tier of the dropped items based on zone/map level.
- implement segregated mechanics with much better drops for the SSF mode, like in LE.
- implement a real crafting system, like in LE. This obviously will take some time, probably more than a year

+1 to this, but the hope is thin
I literally bought LE for their single idea of having different rules for traders and non-traders, but sadly that game did not click for me.
I would love poe2 to adopt something similar.
Near zero chance they will ever split the two game modes. They will always be linked when it comes to nerfs and buffs. GGG shouldn't care what trade league does because people will buy the best stuff regardless. They should be buffing the game around SSF even if that means trade league economy tanks

yep.

and i think in poe1 they always have. the economy is really robust, its pretty hard to tank it.
I love all you people on the forums, we can disagree but still be friends and respect each other :)
I wouldn't say no to increased orb drops - chaos orbs seem to be the bottleneck for 'crafting' under the current system. I'm always low on chaos.

Though it's better if they introduce more deterministic mechanics for actual crafting, instead of just bumping up numbers.

In PoE 1 I've always prioritized Essences & Expedition, for SSF play. In PoE 2 I don't even know why are these two in the game. Gambling with gold surpasses them both.

In impenetrable darkness
Increasing gold drops and/or reducing gambling costs would drastically improve SSF. Having a currency exchange vendor would also be a great benefit.
