i'm giving up - DEVELOPERS PLEASE READ!
Feel like all these posts talking about "sweet, sweet loot" and saying how required it is for their dopamine, might want to set up an appointment to get that cleared up. Just play the game to play the game; not some imaginary pay-off. Loot is obnoxiously buffed already; nobody will ever be happy and rarer loot is now just "expected." I don't even remember what was good in 2013, probably Exalted (can't remember because stuff was rare, but something you're guaranteed 5 minimum with no MF), but my friends and I were excited to even get Alt/Aug/Trans Orbs... something you probably don't even bother to pick up. Welbutrin.

" You need to come out of your dungeon or stop no-lifing this game. It is not ok at the moment, as so many have said in their feedback. You either need to stop being a dungeon dweller, a troll or stop playing 14 hours a day. |

" "It is not ok"... According to who ? You ? The tiny vocal minority ? You can go on any forums on any videogame and see 95% of negative posts. That's how it works. Does it means all games have fundamentals issues ? Nah... But some people sure do. Is the game perfect ? Hell no, it's the first month of and EA. That's the whole point. It is fundamentaly flawed ? That's not true either. What's flawed is a whole generation of zoomer with the attention span of a tiktok that can't see PoE2 is a slow oldschool's style ARPG with all the sweet associated RNGs. That's how it is. You can scream, cry, insult and threaten the devs and the people all you want. That doesn't make your opinion more valid than mine or anyones. And so far, a big majority enjoy the game, even if it's only a quarter of the final content. |

" -> " Steam still has a 80% positive rating for PoE2. I don't know if you know how percentage work, but that's more people liking it than people hating it. Of course, the vocal minority is always, as the name suggest, extremely loud. And youtube content creators are known to get more views as soon as they spit on something instead of praising it. But I guess you can only google "Hate PoE2" and find appropriate results. That's a fact : humans feed on drama, hate, and complaints. News media know it for over centuries. But you should try a diet for your own good. |

Well PoE2 isn`t the bad game, but not masterpiece either. With time and right management could be quite successful. But there`s some things i don`t like. Need to complete trials to get ascendancy points (those really made me anger). It`s very bad decision. Leave them for achievements or for a equipment grind. And at current state game "knows" how to punish players, but not rewarding them accordingly when they succeed. Don`t get me wrong. I don`t mind difficulty. But trying a boss for an hour just to get some "gray`s" and orbs? By my opinion game developed to drag out gamplay. And to force players to buy with real money things from store. Lets see how game will be developed.

People like poe2 just because they've been bullied by poe1.

I agree. A game like this shouldn't be designed around trading. 99% of the playerbase play their characters solo, so why force me to engage with other players to get some decent equipment? I agree, that I haven't found anything meaningful myself. Yes, here and there a blue magic item with decent mods that carried me through campaign, but I'm also missing the dopamine kicks here and there. The only way to get something good is stacking rarity, but then you have the same problem as with PoE1: Tons of drops that you have to browse through. I want less, but more meaningful loot. Like bosses, when dropping rares, having a higher chance for more mods and better tiers. This way, boss loot would be meaningful. But right now? Rare trash mobs often drop more and better stuff then the bosses themselves. :( Honestly: I like PoE2, but the whole craft-mechanic and loot tables need alot of rework. Trading should be optional and not the optimal way to play this game. But as it is now, trading seems mandatory, unless you want to grind yourself to death. |
