Brainstorming Thread - Create your own Skill for PoE2

BS Mechanics Immunity

-Immune to BS random one-shots from off screen
-Immune to BS on-death effects
-Immune to BS unbalanced or over-tuned rare affix mechanics and combinations on rare mobs
-Immune to being stun-locked and perma-frozen since charms are useless
-Immune to bad RNG
-Immune to all the negative BS that rolls on maps
-Immune to BS XP death penalty
-Immune to any BS negative effects of any mechanics that does not respect the players time.


Those are all awesome skills. However, we must be realistic if we want GGG to implement any of them. I propose at least one debuff per skill:

-Immune to BS random one-shots from off screen. Your Energy Shield/Evasion is 0. (No need to debuff Armor. It's useless)
-Immune to BS on-death effects. All Elemental Resistances are 0.
-Immune to BS unbalanced or over-tuned rare affix mechanics and combinations on rare mobs. Your Movement Speed is 0.
-Immune to being stun-locked and perma-frozen since charms are useless.Your Attack/Cast Speed is 0.
-Immune to bad RNG. Items Cannot Have More Than 1 Affix.
-Immune to all the negative BS that rolls on maps. Waystone Drop is Fixed at 1%.
-Immune to BS XP death penalty. Death is Permanent.
-Immune to any BS negative effects of any mechanics that does not respect the players time. Your Energy Shield, Evasion, Armor, Life and Mana are all 1. Only Common Items Drop. Items Cannot be Upgraded or Traded.
Unlimited Refund

When used, player gets all money refunded they spent on this game

That's funny, pretty creative. I was thinking of a new warcry that boosts the armor rating and adds PDR to yourself and party members. Curious what people think?

I changed it slightly. Thought it would be better to boost armour for you and nearby allies while making you immune to armour break. This would prevent enemy monsters from completely destroying your defense, preventing your tanky character from melting in a few seconds...

I changed it slightly. Thought it would be better to boost armour for you and nearby allies while making you permanently immune to monster armour break. This would prevent enemy mobs from completely destroying your defense, preventing a tanky character melt in a few seconds.

Agreed with mandatory debuff, but would not reduce speed at all as that would make skill DoA. I like debuff to Elemental Resistances, but should not be that extreme and should be roughly 50% of curses such as Hypothermia (Cursed enemies have -34% to Cold Resist), so reduced to around 15% for all resistances seems reasonable. Updated OP.

No debuffs. Previous version was perfect. Don't let GGG break our spirit. Let's move in the other direction:

Performs a defensive warcry, greatly boosting the armour rating to you and nearby allies' for an extended duration and granting you immunity to armour break. You and your allies' attack speed is increased by 5%.

Just give it a longer cooldown because it's too powerful to spam. And maybe some negative effect for a couple of seconds after it's over, like a 15% elemental resistance reduction because the party is exhausted after going hard.
