Customer service- no response
Dear GGG Team,
My main account was locked and I am informed to contact support via email. However, I have no answer since 1 week and I assume, looking from other threads, It might even take up to a few weeks. I am new player to PoE world, spent significant money to build up my account and I cannot play both poe2 and poe1. For this moment, I am not able to participate in new league of poe1 too. It means I am no more able to reach the top of the new league because i am stuck for so long at the very beginning. It hurts because I was waiting for the new poe1 league for a long time and i am missing out for no reason, with no response and help from your side. I understand that you have many people like me, big backlog, but I think that emails from people you 'locked' are much more important than emails from people who send you a message with a question or some kind of comment.
It's been two weeks I cannot play both poe1 and poe2 because of the lock on my account. |

"You're still handling a large amount when you've lost 70% of the player base? It's safe to say many of those emails will respond to people who have already quit. That excuse was used MONTHS ago when there were HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS of players, not TENS. Seriously, step it up. My body is starting to hurt. I can't stop laughing at this circus. " That excuse was used as far back as 2021 at least, when I came to poe1 and had my first 4-week interaction with account investigation team:) Most likely before 2021 too. They periodically release statements about "yeah we could use more support staff" (last one is in poe2 announcements section) but looking at the forum, nothing changes in this regard. If you cannot get more staff, maybe tune down automatic bans a bit? :shrug: |

A friend of mine was silenced for two months for saying "budding dictators" in the global chat of poe2. The silencing was quick, but he got a reply after almost two months, so he didn't bother to reply to GGG and went to play Last Epoch. That was the best response to people who care about nothing but making money but not serving their customers, punishing them for meaningless comments in a new game "Poe2", accumulating meaningless punishments from the previous game, the original Poe. If they don't respect, they don't get respected.

But he's playing another game now, Last Epoch, so don't grieve for him and so many others who have experienced the same thing, unjustified punishments. " What has the time I've spent to do with anything? Like I said, you don't get a 2-month ban for ONE single breach of conduct, he had to break the chat rules multiple times before. While the entire context is missing because "budding dictators" is probably not everything he said - inflammatory topics like "politics" are not allowed in global chat. Your "you paid money thus get not punished" argument is a strawman. I, myself, got muted in global chat too, some of my comments and posts get removed, if they break the "Code of Conduct".
