Wrong, those are bots. There are no humans that would lower themself to collect 1500 Regal Orbs for a mere 1 exalted.

This has to be some chinese farmer misconfigured bot.
No human would do that, and if they did, it would be only once
What human even have 1000 regals? You get that once every 6 months of nonstop play?
Eventually the amount of people with 1000 regals should dry up and the 'exploit' to stop working, the only way it keeps happening over and over again is if there is some bot refilling it's regal stock so it can keep repeating it.

If you are abusing some gold farmer bot, good for you, I hope you keep doing it and makes their service unprofitable and they quit
If you are not abusing a gold farmer bot, then the amount of free regals being traded for 1 exalt will eventually dry up and the market will balance itself.
I have no way to know how many players with 1000 regals willing to make the trade exist so it could end in a moment or in a month, either way, it will fix itself unless Alva is straight up making regals from nothing, which I doubt but it's not impossible since silly bugs can always happen

Well.. almost 3 months later (now) and is still not "fixed by itself" and never will. You can still (24/7) buy regals and other currencies and flip them (eg. buy regals for exalted, then sell back the regals for 2-3 times the exalted) for insane profit. In other words 99% of the time, buy vs sell difference is more than 2:1 allowing you to double-triple your investment just using gold.

What happens now is just back to the "normal" 2:1 buy vs sell ratio, probably the bots or whoever was selling 1k regals for 1 exalted are gone. However being able to double-triple your investment in minutes still works all the time and is lame that nobody at GGG gives a shit.

So far I saw no signs of GGG doing something about it, either limit back and forth trading or at least to display both ratios at same time on Alva so unaware ppl stop underselling their currency not knowing to press "Alt" key to see "competing trades" and endlessly feeding the flippers with good ratios to keep them going.

Anyway, I don't care anymore, I just hope it doesn't happen again on the new league (this was the purpose of this thread anyway, to prevent that).
