The world has gone crazy.
We can buy a small whole pumpkin and sow its seeds. If the soil is not wasted or dried up, there is a chance to see the flower of pumpkin in few months (or in the next season as long as the seed is alive.)
In this case, what did we pay for ? Ofc we can "always say" or "at least say" that we pay for the price tag. I don't think that is about the world. Everything I do should be wrong so please correct me if I do it right <3 Stop Bombing Moment Joon 【Passport & Garcon】https://bit.ly/2wXiUSj MonoNeon 【Put On Earth For You】https://bit.ly/3I22mru Last edited by finisterre#5659 on Mar 1, 2025, 5:52:51 PM

You don’t actually read the descriptions, yet you have time to post nonsense on game forums?

Yes
Your curiosity is so strong that you are willing to pay to see the game now, even in its unfinished form. No one forced you to buy. You created a demand, so there was also an offer. |

" That is your perspective and you are free to not pay for it. The other perspective is you get to experience parts of the game before others do. For some this is worth the money. |

It's funny, I have upgraded to the expensive supporter pack and still feel I got my moneys worth, easily.
I have paid more for games I play through once and shelve. I have over 1000 hours into PoE2 already and it isn't even released yet. So to the OP, wait for us to test it and then get it for free? Seems like an easy answer to your problem. Stupid people never lose an argument.

Personally I wish the game cost $70 instead of being F2P upon release. Being F2P just means they have to put more focus on engagement over actual content. Getting you to buy more MTX means much more than making the game fun / worth playing.

" Nailed it! Personally I think the lower cost, early access to games should be more widespread in the industry. Let the player base have some input during the later stages of the development cycles. I am sure this can only be a positive step towards better games. Whether its offered as limited beta, open early access (paywalled to keep the players to those whom are actually in the target demographic), and good old fashioned Demo versions. I fully expected the Demo version mindset to be super popular with such easy distribution and feedback channels on the net. The days of big AAA studios making stonking great games in isolation appears to be gone now. it doesn't seem to be working for many big companies, as we all know. Just my observations as a player and a retired development veteran. Stay a while, and listen…🐰

" It will be paid the same amount of time as the average game and will go free at the same usual time as the average game ends up free on game passes across platforms. Forget what is said and watch what happens. There will be no 1 year beta test. It will function the same way a normal game does. Game won't be ready in a year which means it will be paid for more than a year. Word play and tricks for children lol |

" It's more of a matter that you may not have another game to play at the time, so you may as well play an unfinished game that is made by a reputable company. I was binging From software games and Resident Evil games before this came out, then quit a few weeks before Kingdom Come Deliverance 2 came out. Don't think there was anything new I wanted to play during the time POE2 released. |
