Are you guys having fun this season?

For me, not really. I started the league late after they "fixed" a bunch of stuff. I got to maps, but just nothing good ever drops and it's like pulling teeth to get anything done.

I don't mind trading here and there, but it felt like I was supposed to be trading numerous times throughout the campaign just to have the boss fights not take like 5 minutes. Instead I just tried to play very well to pass a few very hard ones (and managed) but it all just feels pointless.

I want to play ARPGs to find/craft loot not to just trade exalts to someone else who found it.

To me trading is great when you want to try some off-the-wall build that combos uniques together or when you really, really want that late map power spike. I feel the instance on early trade just makes the game a huge, slow grind.

1) Seasonal
2) Good group play GRift
3) Leaderboards to showcase builds and groups.
4) I didn't mid the sets ... as much as others...
5) login ... had a group finder .... boom away i go in a grp blowing stuff up ...
unless you were playing Marauder....

It felt good to play .....
I had a lot of fun in D3 for years.

0.1 was fun
0.2 is not

Now playing something else and will relook next session

I rage quitted today after 5000th random one shot on death thing. Feels like they made it much worse. 0.1 I kind of got used to it, managed to dodge / not go to dead mobs couple seconds. This season died a lot to this shit. Not even a fucking skill, just super annoying shit.
0.1 I had 600+ hours and had so much real fun.. 0.2 I am burned out after 40 hours. Died to stupid shit probably 20x times on lvl 89:D You kill mobs, standing looking at loot and then booom after few seconds- dead, not even telegraphed or invisible due to terrain. Chain stun- I have no words for that shit...

If I could give 1 single advise to GGG- I would say take your time. Don't rush, cook 0.3 even 6 months if needed or will be another F. No idea why on earth GGG released this 0.2 patch on top of LE S2 in this state.

I had a lot of fun in D3 for years.

I played 25 seasons of D3 and I feel you. The things it did well you mentioned, I would include very fluent and satisfying gameplay. The skills just felt good to cast.
The problem with D3 however was that loot was way too ez (characters could be created and builds finished in 2 days), itemization (sets and 50000% multipliers on items predetermined every build) and the lack of endgame challenges (greater rifts are randomized and thus forgettable, it needed smth remembering like Ubers or pinnacles with complex mechanics that you need to master and that exist outside of the T1-T16 difficulty and are freaking hard. They would require super late game characters to beat but also drop awesome loot like torches/anni in D2 or all the cool gems/items we had in PoE2 0.1). So a game with D3's fluent gameplay and PoE2 0.1 character progression, build diversity, itemization and endgame content would be the dream for me.

I'm not really sure to be honest. Definitely feeling the VISION this patch. Playing a huntress, getting to maps took quite more than i expected. I AM killing stuff, not a problem but campaign just doesn't have the " I feel I'm getting more powerful as i progress" unless i save the currency i get and go to trade cuz not gonna gamble on lvling gear... I mean come on...Theeeen, I got to maps and did 2 t1 maps . One blue with a lot of rarity - got 1 rare item,1ex , 1 chaos. The second was a rare t1 map -0 rares and maybe 1 ex, not sure. Felt stupid and went to watch a vid or two and saw LS... Then I went to poe2ninja today and saw 52% LS and was very disappointed , all while laughing at GGG for the results of the nerf nukes. And now I'm stuck contemplating whether to reroll to LS and have some fun killing stuff in a way that feels good or to go LE rout :( I really , really liked the feel of 0.1 .. This thing nu uh.. So no not really having fun

to be honest not at all. this season was a huge let down.... maybe next one will be better if they ditch the "vision"

I am bored out of my mind. Reached level 90, beat some citadels, time to retire

D3 had ubers. Infernal machines.
What D3 did really well, was delivering on the actual combat. Build just got more and more fun to play. Even, if you already trivialized all content.
They somehow made it so, that it was really fun to just keep progressing. And for some reason, all the "bs mechanics" like on death effects and hordes over hordes of monsters swarming you, was the best feeling an arpg has given me so far.
D3 had a lot of problems. But the actual grind was golden. And there have been sorc builds, once the wrong button and you just died. This was a blink autobomber. Cant remember the season but you had to get it running first. It would destroy gr150 in under 1:30. One time the wrong button, you dead. So you really had to check for on death stuff, reflect, etc.
But running gr's for a decade just made me put down d3 at one point. Came just back for the last season before D4. Was fun to play the campaign again.
Funny, the last sorc build in d3 was exactly the one that got nerfed into the ground with cast on freeze a week after release...maybe we should focus more on holy than meteor...

I just leave this season... i try lich minion ... but minions die easy ... and drops still trash... im go for last epoch.
I want fun in game, not suffering like a job.
