22 recombinators.

Where is my item editor GGG? RNG is not difficult. The only things that are difficult are the things that I can memorize from a YouTube video and mimic. When I do that it makes me feel like an elite gamer. This RNG progression doesn't respect my time. It's slow, tedious, and unrewarding.

You say "I don't believe you", then did the mAtH, and conclude - "Go buy more bases". Comedy.

I did the math the moment I have seen the post title.
I have this ability to calculate nearly instant...
Impressive.

So, because you are such a "Beautiful Mind", how often does he need to recombine for two mods when the odds of the combination are:
1) 5%
2) 1%

I can't tell if you guys are trolling or just missing 5th grade of school. If you are from US I would understand, but come on. 5% chance means 1 in 20. 1% chance means 1 in 100. It ain't that hard?

That's only a response someone stuck in 5th grade would give on my question. Ironic.

11 tries 0 success

SCAM

It is not, a "SCAM".
It is pure mathematics.

The distribution is quite hard to calculate, but you can calculate the probability of failure wearing a blind fould.

If you have 10% chance to success , you convert this to chance to failure - 90%.
And then you power it to as many times as you tried.

0.9 power 11 ~ 30% chance to get nothing.

And you are telling me, that hitting this 30% chance is a SCAM?

I do not understand the question.

Besides the probability, you need to know one of two things.

1. The chance of success.
2. The number of trials.

If you give me the number of trials, I can tell you the chance to fail/succeed.

If you give me the chance of fail/succeed I can give you the number of trials required to achieve it.

The first is calculated with power, the later with logs.
yeah recombine above tier 5-6 is a waste of time

Don't worry, I assumed you would automatically use the "attempts" from the thread.

Item A
1. The chance of success - 5%
2. The number of attempts - 10

Item B
1. The chance of success - 1%
2. The number of attempts - 10

If you math hard enough (6th grade level of ubermath), you can get 100% chance to roll 50 div gloves trust.
Just math, man, what don't you understand?
Recombinator would be such a fun mechanism if the odds were 50:50. But of course that would ruin the trade economy. Possible solution: strict divide between trade and ssf leagues with different odds OR make recombined items account bound (would still create a market for good bases that arn't good items by themselfes).
