Add gold drops to sanctum bosses!

Would be really nice if add even some gold for sanctums. So annoying to literally get ZERO gold when running sanctum. Does not have to be anything crazy.

what i suggest on 83sanctum (lower tiers = lower ammount)

floor1 boss: 2000gold
floor2 boss: 3000gold
floor3 boss: 5000gold
floor4 boss: 10000gold
total 20000gold
I mean could be so easy to implement something like this and sanctum runners and buyers would be happy :)

would be happy even if get 5k gold full run to be honest... please xD

I got a more fun idea: Convert aureus coins into gold on completion.

Do you spend all your earnings on boons, or do you tough it out by saving them for gold?
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

And the winds will cry / and many men will die / and all the waves will bow down / to the Loreley

Both of these seem like good options. The non-map content seems a bit sparse on gold.

Most strats use gold to boons. People would rather run 1 normal map than something like this if its not like ~500k gold on avarage run

But please add some gold drop for next league in sanctum. I get it that you dont want to people to mix coins and gold so just have big gold drops on bosses for ez life.
Sanctum needs gold. Would also be fun to have hinekoras lock as rare additional to sanctums.

Sanctum is rewarding enough where loot is concerned, adding more things is just inviting GGG to nerf the content some more. It's bad enough they made tomes drop more rarely.

Not rewarding enough when comparing to t17 maps :P Ok sure sanctum is best currency in first few days of league but it falls off fast comparing to good t17 mapping strats where most hinekoras locks come from so why not add in lock to sanctum to just have extra fun? Like many people would do thousands of sanctums and not see lock anyway in since its already extremely rare.
Sanctum is already toxic - esp low level sanctums in early league.

make it print gold and significant part of the population wont touch anything else. content that is playable (efficiently) with like 3 builds is already bad enough, make it self-sufficient (almost, you need ores and dust to get recombs as well) and it becomes Path of Sanctum


make this content worth interacting on anything but 3 builds and cut pre-83 rewards before you add gold and make it one stop shop for everything

What are you talking about?

Way more than just three builds can farm Sanctum efficiently.

Once you hit a certain damage threshold, everything melts, bosses included. It’s not only the so-called “streamer meta” that’s capable of running the content as plenty of other builds can trivialize and efficiently speed-farm the hell out of this place for big profits, if the repetitive boredom doesn’t kick in first.

shockwave totem, penance brand, hexblast and maybe bama

they all have what is important for sanctum (proxy damage, no aim required, scale well on nothing, skills cannot miss moving enemies, skills ignore gaps/clifs)

sure, you can do sanctum on glacial hammer or scorching ray - but it makes no sense as long as these 3(4) builds are just plain better in every way possible

there is no need to discuss meaning of word viable or doable. Sanctum is a content that you either DO once for a challenge (if applicable) on any semi-decent build or FARM with 3(4) builds that are just outright better than anything else. ive done my fair share of Sanctums - the most important aspect of Sanctum is TIME. a build not only should give you a fair chance of completing it and safely phasing Lycia but it should do it in short time. that means fast movement speed to trivialise traps, gap/cliff cross ability for 'find exit' rooms/shortcuts and ofc damage to kill bosses before they become a danger

Sanctum prints money but if it prints 8 divs per run and that run took 45 minutes.. then it is no longer that cool. and more runs -> more relics that actually make a significant % of profits regardless of strategy
