Sanctum is only superior before people can do juiced t17maps and then t17 is so much more div/hour than 10min sanctums runners can farm (i am one of those 10min sanctum farmers)

It is a crime nothing in sanctum drops gold. Even 1k gold per sanctum run would be enough so i could even sometimes use exchange without leaving to maps. Also its stupid that bosses like uber maven drops like 400gold??? AFAIK every place drops gold other than sanctum currently...

If they would add hinekoras locks to sanctum it would just be great for crafters. Its anyway so rare item that mostlikely never would see one in sanctum in thousand runs, but knowing there is a chance is great :D You guys not like cheaper locks?

There is nothing wrong with path of sanctum (except for no gold XD)

i can see at least some problems with that

Sanctum is EXTREMELY profitable if you know what you are doing. and it is a steady income over time - it does not rely on Simplex drop

it drops liquid assets - that means you can buy anything you need that sanctum doesnt provide (unlike say Inscribed ultimatums. even ones that are objectively worth divs sell for less and even then - not immediately. liquid is good)

it is extremely build dependent. playing it more than once on a non-farmer is objectively stupid thing to do unless you do it purely for fun.



if you change sanctum from 'good but has some aggravating drawbacks' to 'good, no drawbacks' it will skyrocket in popularity HEAVILY warping build distribution

in a state POE1 is now (one false move and it is dead) it is extremely short-sighted approach

T17 may be more profitable, but Sanctum is also infinitely safer. To reliably farm T17s, you need to spend an incredible amount of currency to make a build strong enough to put up with the ridiculous amount of juice without dying all the time. Sanctum, not so much. In fact, Sanctum is a great way to solo power level to 100 if you hate the idea of paying for rotas.

And let's not forget the amount of setup you have to do for T17s versus Sanctum. Scarabs, juicing, atlas passives, enchants, a lot of stuff that costs currency to make them valuable. Sanctum? Just grab a handful of one-time purchase relics and tomes, you're all set.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

Would be nice to get some gold while farming divs in sanctum during the later stages of my build.
I hate everything about Sanctum, but in getting 40 challenges, we had to run it, and the gold was even worse than delve.

This probably needs to be looked at.
