Player power is so high that it is ruining the game. 1-button screen clear is BORING.
" yup same. the hilarious part about this topic is that the people who claim a preference for slow/methodical gameplay can do it right now (they dont). what they actually want is to stop other people from having things. they are like the vegans of gaming. You want them to nerf those builds?
If this game is supposed to be about slow and meaningful combat then maybe they should first change how to endgame is being played. Because they say one thing and then they design another. Slow and meaningful with the map sizes that we are dealing with I am expecting a few packs of mobs that take a while to clear and don't just nuke you. Rares drop actual meaningful loot and take a minute or 2 to kill, map boss that takes maybe 4 minutes if it's present on the map. The loot must be meaningful after that. Pinnacles - sure make them a 10 minute fight but if you design mechanics that are supposed to 1 shot a player then I think your eyes are crossed and your vision is not so good. Instead we are dealing with white mobs that when buffed by waystone suffixes just one shot you. You have a problem with players that spend hundreds of hours to get to these builds, but you fail to recognize that GGG's cross eyed vision was the true enemy of what you wanted. Big maps + shit ton of mobs + lack of meaningful combat + shit loot = everyone wants to zoom Why do players want to zoom? Because at this point only currency drops can give you any sense of accomplishment. Again not players fault, not op build fault. GGG's vision is at fault. |

+1, i always end up getting bored after reaching end game.
clearing the whole screen is not fun at all, maybe for 3 maps, after that it gets boring. it is no diferent from a slot machine, press the clear button and see if a div pops up. i'm glad ggg is trying to evolve the genre to something more than that. |

" Bro thinks you can just do these builds without at least 100 hours of play time invested 🤣 Who cares if you get to this point after literally 100+ hours. Go fight xesht with your slowest build. Don't gate keep me into your boring play. I supported the game cuz it's fun to play slow through the campaign and early maps until I get strong enough to do crazy stuff. You dont have to play fast we aren't forcing you to. So don't force me to play molasses simulator. You on the other hand have not supported the game outside initial 30$ (judging by badges). If you want slow gameplay hit them with the 400$ supporter edition. Money talks. Last edited by DankWeebTrash#7386 on May 26, 2025, 12:39:55 AM

" You can one-click screen clear T15 under 10divs on a stupid LS build What is the point of having boss mechanics if you skip ALL OF THEM and kill a boss in 5sec? How do you expect those builds will be challenged by devs? - One shots - Boss invul-phase mechanic - On Death effects This will affect EVERYONE. Broken builds have negative effect on the entire game Just because I have 900hours in Need for Speed and I invested a lot, it doesn't mean my car goes 9999km/h. There needs to be a ceiling if the balance is lacking. Player power needs a ceiling too, otherwise it gets stupid. Ah, the money argument (when you basically don't have any other). Sorry man. You might enjoy the dopamine rush, but the game is stupidly easy to a point that there is no challenge. You might feel comfy like that and its fine, but all I'm saying is that a big group of people actually want some challenge and this player power is too much. |

People don't understand that picking broken builds affect also others gameplay and experience. If you teaming with this guy that has one of these builds showed in videos, with what way you gonna choose to play? Follow him? Becouse he gonna run and attack like Road Runner bird and it is even impossible to reach him just by running in some occasions. It ruins completely your gameplay experience and effort, didn't respect your time invested and after all seems like a Dev that changed the code to play like a god in the hell while you seem like gold collector boy.
Seriously pathetic! Lets skip these builds and lets talk about balance between classes. How do you feel when someone that don't have a broken build but has a spear weapon and with one throwing clears whole screen in 1 sec while you need 5 sec with Crossbow??? Imagine now to do it in every area before you even think to make a click in your mouse. How frustrated, angry abd anything bad gonna feel playing with this guy! Changing party?? For how long you gonna try find a correct party for you if 80% of players playing like this?? So in conclusion the problem lies to fast kills and not particular in broken builds. Of course with slow pace game, defences should be significaly boosted and there is where Devs should focus. Becouse if Devs want 4 min Boss fight then they need to give more options of boosting defences. New gear items, new ways to buff instantly like magic potions, party buffs, ally buffs, fighting pets, better passive points with more combined elements, etc. Personally i will stop not for these videos but with the unbalanced game between classes and weapons that never fixed by Devs. Last edited by teobibu#1278 on May 26, 2025, 2:19:35 AM

This what you talking about is typical issue with all ARPG games. But is one exception: Diablo 3, where fighting bosses in high GR maps required specialisation. System was great in this game (at least in GRs)
