POE 3.26 is going to Launch in June and Why POE2 people should care and play it.

Poe is over for me. After playing Poe 2 for so many hours, I can't go back to a game that I consider overloaded in every aspect: too many currency types, too many mechanics, too many crafting options. It simply doesn't entertain me anymore, and I left it behind about two years ago. I only leveled my character to 80 during the Phrecia event because of the skin they were giving away, which worked for Poe 2.
I find Poe 2's gameplay sublime; it's much more fun than Poe's outdated gameplay. Making maps in 40 seconds isn't fun for me. The Atlas endgame system simply bores me. The graphics feel really, really bad, the animations—everything in general—has aged too much. After trying Poe 2, I simply can't play it again.

Zero mechanic gameplay? PoE Two not only has lesss mechanics, they dumbed down those that are in the game so much that it feels like insult. (I guess they think "average player" is dumber than a rock). They pretty much removed "player choice" from anything they could, its like they fear that players will get overwhelmed by even the simpliest thing.

I love this whole "PoE 2 is hard game where you need real skill to play!" thing, meanwhile its just much much simpler, slowed down version with pretty graphics so console players finally can enjoy it.

The sheer number of PoE 1 YouTube build AFK RF gamers struggling to deal with white mobs on 0.2.0 launch disproves this notion completely.

No, it doesnt. The only thing people struggle with in PoE Two is finding the reason to keep playing that abomination. No "RF afk gamer" bothered to play 0.2, as they were done with that garbage after week max in 0.1.

Super solid counter argument that would work a lot better if it weren't for the literal thousands of posts around 0.2.0 that completely contradict it.

Yeah, I bet they told you they are "afk rf players" and you didnt just pull it out of your ass. 0.2 had ~200k peak while 0.1 had almost 600k. You can easily assume more than half of milion players left the game to not bother with it anymore. Wanna bet in which group those so called "afk rf players" were?

So we are forced to play a 10 year old game every other 4 months because they want want to share development cycles with their new game...

What a lame attempt at player retention.

yep, for the tryhards that are too bad at actual hard content and cannot migrate to real souls like games we need to carry that sloppy poe2 with us... ah you meant the other way around.

In all seriousness, they said it would be like this beforehand. They just missed 3 Leagues in between for 0.2. A game, that in endgame plays like poe12 ruthless, but with a lot more powercreep. And 1 (and only 1) boss with not ignorable mechanics because almost everything he does is oneshot style. Meaningful gameplay? lets see say that again at lvl 93+

All of you poe2 hardliner whining about zoomzoom in poe1, poe2 is the same, screenclearing oneshots, bosses under 5 seconds slugfest, only you don't have movement skills. And your maps are 20 times larger with teh same number of mobs, because why not, running is fun.

Walking* Characters in PoE Two are slower than 80 years old grandma, it cannot be called "running".
Bait...

Switch...

+100 reasons to feel stupid.

Go.
I poop, therefore I am.
PoE 2 is so bad. You start as ranger and you are immediately limited by the poor design choices and you are instantly forced to either play lightning arrow/lightning rod or poisonburst/vine arrow.

It feels like every single build is determined by the Devs and you have to play their builds instead of yours.

As long as they don't change their whole approach how skills, skill tree, supports and links work in that game, I won't touch that mess ever again.

Even D4 has more freedom and build choices and that's kinda embarrassing when you consider that this game is the successor of PoE

Yup, like I said. In PoE Two they removed player choice from the game. You dont need to think about ANYTHING, you just do what was prepared for you.
Its more likely poe2 will be a niche game once released
than poe will ever be.

at some point GGG likely will run a graphical update for characters sin poe.

They made poe to good and rogers idea of a poe2 game isnt flying at all.

visuals isnt what arpg is about its gameplay and poe simply put is the better gameplay
The premise is silly. "[insert name of group] people should care and play it". People will play what they want, when they want.
