Spells, Self-casting and skill viability in general

If you think you have to spend boatloads of divines to play any build you should give a try at ssf and actually learn the game instead of buying all your gear. It will make your life a lot easier.

Lets be pedantic and say that the 5 dollar candy bar has nuts in it and I'm lethally allergic to them.

And further my point was that the particular candy bar labeled "Lightning Strike" also contains trace amounts of nuts in it and I wouldnt eat it either way, even if I could afford it.

And dont get me wrong, either way I'll keep looking for the build.. I mean "candy bars" that I can both like and afford.

Why did you claim the candy bar cost $40 when you knew it cost $5. This is not pedantic, this is a dishonest skirt of the hypothetical.

I hate to be That Guy, but OP wasn't claiming the candy bar cost 40 dollars, he was claiming it cost 400 dollars.

So it's literally an order of magnitude worse than your analogy made it sound, unless you're just being exceedingly generous.

I doubt that you can afford proper "lightning strike"-candy bar for 5$ though, unless its some off brand shit w/ raisins in it or something.

But you're right, I Shouldnt have pointed at the 40$ hypothetical when cheaper options exist, whetever they have nuts in them or not.

With bit of imagination you could think of 40 dollars being equilevant to 400 div and 5 dollars being equal to 100 div.

either way, I'm allergic to nuts.. I mean mine builds

Buffing scorching ray of immolations damage by ~20% isnt suddenly going to make unusable garbage skill into playable. Sure that might be a buff for someone playing RF, but I would rather play the scorching ray as the main skill.

My fiance would agree wholeheartedly to this. He really loves Scorching Ray, but it fell off hard not long after the gem was introduced to the game. He doesn't want to play RF with SR support, he wants to main SR and as it currently stands, it's simply not worth using under any circumstance.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

I'm pretty sure Nutch meant 5 div when he said 5 dollars.

Something in the area of "one hundred percent sure," in fact.

You're not arguing in good faith, my man. People in this thread are trying to help you, but if you're this much at war with reality and truth you're never going to learn anything.

In case you're truly here to try and help me then, could you point me to a video of someone killing current endgame bosses using a Scorching ray build that isn't really just a Righteous fire character using SR for added single target dmg?

Or general guide on how to scale Exsanguinate phys DoT to even 1/10th of DPS you can achieve with Heatshiver miner exans builds?

I agree but, here is the field goal on the changing post https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iswR5O7s-tc
To be fair I mentioned both Scorching Ray and Exsanguinate phys Dot as part of my original post and I was partly genuinely asking just in case you were trying to help or not.

But I also agree that he goalposts have been rather shifty so we might aswell let it rest then.
