Is it just me or has POE got unenjoyable

I just wanna play my build that I enjoy. Along come GGG and nerf the shit out of everything. I struggling to wanna play and enjoy the game like I use to. I'm lv 78 with over 2000 life and 2000 es and I'm getting one shotted on as T3 map with no modifiers. What is going on GGG?

This league had almost exclusively buffs to skills. I can't recall a single nerf towards defenses from the patch notes. So i don't really know what you are on about. If you get oneshot in t3 maps then there are 2 likely reasons, your build is horrible defense wise or the oneshots came from mercenaries who seem to be overtuned in some cases having access to large amounts of physical overwhelm or ele pen. Either way, it has nothing to do with GGG nerfing anything.

Uh... Chaos Golems. Huge nerf to physical defense.

I don't really see how 5% flat phys red. is "huge". Especially coming from such an unreliable source. And golem focused elementalists weren't exactly common in recent years. I guess it's a nerf but a pretty niche one at best.

too many leagues of disappointment. We waited a year and guess what? strongboxes and magic find builds for what 4 years now? Scarabs that quite literally price you out of the game, dudes removed compasses only to replace them with scarabs??????????? why did you bother removing the compasses????. I think GGG has lost whatever made them special before. Really upset with PoE2 as well that really sucks eggs and the dudes are selling cosmetics when I still have 150 cosmetics I cannot even use yet, how many tens of thousands of people bought supporter packs pre- PoE2 with that promise in mind. Companies can only take poops on people for so long.....

I don't know what your other layers of defenses are and I certainly don't care enough to look, but 2k life + 2k ES is nothing if that's all you have. For one thing, if you're up against any chaos damage (which there is quite a lot of) that's just 2k life, which I try to hit by the end of act 6 on my characters. Even at 75%+ chaos resist, you're suicidally fragile unless you have some way of redirecting that chaos damage out of your life pool.

I suggest you go over to the Gameplay Help section, they're usually willing to hook you up with some minor changes you can make to dramatically improve your build. Just as a start though, I'd take a look at every single non-weapon rare item you have equipped and try to get two defensive prefixes. That shouldn't cost you more than 20c total and will put you at least up to 6k combined life and ES... that's a 50% boost in under 5 minutes.
