Tier 17s - An insidious problem?

Edit: removed 'we' framing to make clear this very much comes from me and im not trying to come across like im speaking on behalf of the community, and to avoid any pob build dramas.

I don't get on with t17s for a few reasons:

The layouts are bad
The mods are anti-fun
They are such a significant greater level of profit vs. anything else in the game

T16.5s fix one problem - the layouts - but actually make the other two problems worse IMO.

Now we can run our favourite layouts, with the most unfu. mods in the game. Now there's even less reason to run your favourite map in a nice fun, comfy t16, when you could be getting sucked into a drowning orb or standing on an invisble exarch rune and getting double loot

Please GGG, rethink this 'rippier than thou' philosophy to rewards - make hard content, but make bosses that require skill to engage with, rather than horrendous map mods that make maps just an all round un-fun and intensely rippy experience

Also this more on a subjective point - but it made a lot more sense to me when all the bossing was tied into rotations and boss maps - rather than randomly dropping from ubers!

Thanks for making my fav game still - I'm having a blast - this comes from a place of love but also immense frustration trying to just vibe and farm maps.

Lmao you have 1 div champion you mean and it's probably really 20c. No way you have a "100d build and only 40k Armour 🤣
what a weird lie......you do know that your champion is visible to us right? And that the general population knows what a 100 divs looks like?

And for that matter, why would that mean you are "good" at t17s or know anything? I could give a new player 1000 divs and their build would still likely be crap dying all the time in t17s.

One glance at your gear, character, tree, and the 100 div "lie" shows that your "context" is giving the opposite effect you intended it to.

And you started off your post with this whole "we" nonsense, assuming without any evidence that you are speaking for a mass of the population. For shame!
Starting anew....with PoE 2

Bruh I don't know where you're buying your shit from but that chest alone is about 30d and the sword is 25. Why toxic?

Dude why are you gassing? Ive easily pumped that much currency into the build. It's the jung GC BF build, and it's done me really well as a starter. Ive shuffled some things onto a flicker trickster im now experimenting. Yeah maybe the 'we' was a bit presumptuous but why you gotta come so toxic when im literally just leaving some feedback about how I feel about really annoying t17 mods like drowning orbs, awakener desolation and exarch runes? I am not pretending to be good at the game... just literally pointing out that there are some mods I find really unfun. [Removed by Support]

We fed back to GGG that we hated T17s: for a few reasons;

Who’s this “we”? It’s mostly just the vocal minority complaining T17s are too much while running unoptimized, barely progressed builds. T17s already got a nerf, if that’s still not enough, maybe it’s time to get better or accept that aspirational content isn’t meant to feel like a T16 park walk on 1 divine thrift store gear.

Fair enough, I've edited the post as agreed im talking for myself so shouldn't assume im speaking for the community. Very much my opinions only. I still feel this way even after running t17s with well optimised builds in previous leagues.
I'm playing fissure berserker and while my gear isn't great by any means (still need to cap spell suppression, no mageblood / progen. yet etc. ) t17 feel just absolutely awful to me. I can do all content in the game aside from them without too much issues but I can't manage to kill a juiced abomination boss. the arena is so tiny, the orbs oneshot me, there's random degens everywhere with terrible visibility... it also feels like 90% of the mods avaiable are straight up build bricking for me, combined with a random reduced recovery mod from altars and the map is literally impossible to finish.

At 7 Endurance charges, fortify, high armour and almost 6k life and 83+ max res, over + instant leech etc. it's not like I'm super squishy either. In my oppinion they are some of the worst content ever added to the game and they are absolutely killing my enjoyment to play every time I step foot into one of them.

Might just be that I'm bad but I really really hate them and how profitable they (still) are
T17s are bad and a meme. And their map mods suck yeah. +1
They are supposed to be challenging.
What's the point if you get maximum loot with zero friction?
