DO ORB OF CHANCE EVER WORK ?

I'd say the orbs of chance are there so that when a unique drops and the unique is not for you, then you can disenchant it to a shard and thus you will have a CHANCE to get another unique.

here lets fix this...
its another chance to get your hopes up only to be disappointed for the 100th time.

they work. with the correct white base items and the right amount of luck.

But they really do. Take 5 Ashen Staves and use 5 orbs of chance, it's going to take you less Exalteds than a Perfect Jeweller's Orb. One of those Staves will become an unique.

Now the problem is of course that not a lot of these uniques are really that useful. But "Chance-able uniques are too weak" is a different thread title than "orb of chance never work".
