Someone who doesn't read texts in-game, skips voiced dialogues or doesn't click on environmental tablets/scriptures/poems et cetera isn't interested in lore. Even less so if having a Youtube video in the background isn't an option either. Clearly the interest isn't there then - and no amount of AI slop would change that.
So no, again, hard pass.
Except we really don't know for sure until its tried. And its not "ai slop", its an amazing tool that can be used in so many positive ways to improve so many things. Only a matter of time until its a normal everyday thing just like the internet,phones etc.
It just may take more time for it to be well-developed enough so games start using it. But it won't take that long.

It's been tried in other games. It failed. Luckily this is one of those things where I trust GGG to know better, so at the end of the day this whole discussion is a nothingburger.

My son showed me how much they messed with a Darth Vader AI in Fortnight.
After watching players clown on the AI for a good fifteen minutes, I am now convinced these things need to cook a few years before being unleashed on the public.
