QoL Autoloot
" if you can't handle looting find another game |

" Essence: Yes it would. No one i know farming essence picks up below screaming tier. Autoloot would pick up all tires that get traded up, meaning more of them coming into the economy. Gemcutter: I hid those on my filter on the second weekend of the league, so Idk what you're talking about. Autoloot wolf men way more of those entering the economy too. Hell I currently have chaos below a 10 stack hidden, and before I hid it very regularly ignored them on he map. I nor I'm not the only one don't you're, though only GGG has the data to say how wide spread it is. But because there are people like me, autoloot will men more chaos going into economy, meaning you get worse gear for the same amount of chaos, meaning you'd have to farm longer for anything other than bubblegum that can be autolooted. |

"Ok, i thought it obvious, but seems not so... On average you have 1 defeaning, 1 shrikening, 1 screaming, 1 wailing per essences. Lets assume defeaning cost 3c, then srikening 1c, screaming 0.33c, and wailing 0.11c. I.e. you have 4.33c per essence, without picking wailing and 4.44c with. Do this 2.5% more essences really "drastically" change picture? Do you really will inflate essence market with such huge income multiplier? "But it works both ways. It means if i find a good fracture i sell it for much more to you rich guys, and still buy whatever i want. |

" That's exactly what it doesn't mean. Autoloot doesn't change the amount of divines or fractured bases. These items are completely unaffected by autoloot. It just devalues everything at the bottom because the market gets flooded by it. The 10d fracture is still 10d because it's priced around fracturing orbs and demand but instead of being able to exchange 3k fusings through Faustus for it you'd now have to pay 30k fusings. |

"Noone talk about divines. KaosuRyoko wrote that he will loot more chaoses, and because of it prices for another items like fractured bases go up. I replied that it works both ways. I need to pay more chaoses for good base, but i also will sell them for much more, so nothing changed. About fusings, it's true, but as i already said before " |

We'll see if it ever gets added how it affects the economy. Hard to say for certain whether it would be a net positive or negative.
Another probably larger aspect that I've learned I do actually agree with GGG on is the excitement of loot. Expedition was a great example of this. I actually didn't realize for an embarrassingly long time that I was getting artifacts at all because they were auto looting. Maybe a vacuum loot would be a reasonable compromise, use the settings you suggest but you at least have to press a button to loot everything you selected that's nearby. Or another idea: if the map didn't drop loot until you kill the boss(/last rare) kind of like a breach stone, then I think actually looting the stuff wouldn't feel as bad. Or maybe it could be a button you could press whenever you want in a map to drop all stored loot. I love looting Blight and Alva explosions in 1, but I get annoyed looting Sim Splinters and Breach Rings individually throughout the map. |

+1
We already have vacuumed loot at the end of incursions, delve and now breaches. It gets really old and exhausting having to click a billion times on all the little currencies, would be wayyy more satisfying to just see numbers go up as you clear a map and then click 1 button to quick-deposit it all into your stash. Now that would be fun game design. Also an auto-sort button would be nice, the year is 2025 and we shouldn't all be forced to play a tetris minigame in our inventory every time we can't pick up an item. Even games as old as Titan Quest had auto-sort button, and they can even go an extra step and make the game sort all your items by itself the moment you try to pick up an item that could fit in your inventory if the items were moved around. Programming something like that to figure out all the combinations of item positions could be tricky, but hey we have all kinds of AI tools to help with that, the future is now and this game really needs to catch up to today's standards. |
