Shade Walker on rare abyss mobs

I also feel that this mod is a little bit too crazy. I would understand if it appeared on only very high level abyss mobs.

There's a timing to their teleporting. It's not at whim or at a certain distance. This sounds like a gud opportunity for getting. There's also Heartstopper in the DEX part of the tree.
As for the Degen: It's tough. It's tricky. It even got nerfed. (Maybe it does need a *tiny* bit more adjusting.) It certainly puckers up my bungus to go up against. But it's hard to say it's impossible. I do have issues w/ clarity sometimes. I'd say that part is maybe 50:50 me:ggg. Where GGG could hopefuly improve that in some way. But also if I'm losing focus then maybe I need a break. Don't get lost by being so focused on the target that you forget to enjoy your surroundings. Yep this shit alone makes me want to put the game down.......
im sick and tired of this GARBAGE. and the abyss is in every map ffs its not enjoyable content and the only people that think this is ok are people with 1 shot screen clear builds that are busted. 0.2 was messy but showed improvement 0.3 showed me they have no clue what to do with this game and shoved poe1 content into a game it had no place in. everything has chill as well season of cold is what it should be called im seriously disappointed with the current state of this pile of terd. |

" I posted a way to deal with it as warrior earlier in the thread. Got to level 90 hcssf using that strat with a Warrior. That character died during unrelated performance issues shortly before they dropped the performance-fixing patch. RIP. The point is they CAN be dealt with - but I also think it's a bit much as well. On it's own it's super scary - it doesn't take much occurring alongside it for it to feel super unfair. Not that the game is supposed to be fair, but even being the masochist that I am, this one usually has me wishing I had a safeword. I think a good solution here would be to give it a telegraph and sound to where it's about to teleport to. It would only get you if you stood still basically, and only one pool of degen juice active at a time! It would still require a bit of coordination when it appeared alongside other rare monsters or bosses, and I think it would still be dangerous - but manageable as well. And put a highlighted outline ring around the degen juice so I can see where the circle is lol. |

Bump, this mod feels terrible. Is there any other rare modifier that completely nullifies a defensive layer instantly? Would GGG ever introduce a rare modifier that turned off ES?
Even worse is that new leech passives were added in 0.3, baiting you into relying on it only to be stomped on by abyssal rares. |

Bump this up please. Why they haven't done anything about this mod??? Shroud Walker jumping on top of players is bad enough. They have to create another mod with an AoE DoT, disable regen? If you say "then just avoid killing a Shroud walker near the abyss, then it won't spawn the Shade Walker", how do we manage to do that when tons of things want to kill us later in the game? Beside, almost 9/10 Abyssal Depth at the end has this mod, else the stupid Kurgal's Final Gasp... This patch is good overall, but please do something about it...

This modifier is SHEER bullshit it's also not armour related because I have the Monk Ascendancy giving me 70% armour, along with CAPPED RESIST and 75% chaos resist and it just decimates my life in 0.5 seconds and I can't even life flask through it OH IT ALSO SPAWNED WITH PROXIMAL TANGIBILITY SO I HAD TO GO FIGHT IT IN MELEE !!!!!!!!!!

Hold up here amigo - The monsters we kill near the abyss are what influence the mods on the rare Abyss monsters that come out of the hole?????????????
Does that mean if I get a shroud-walker near an Abyss I can just kite it away from the abyss before killing it? I've literally just killed the green-infused mobs on the top until monsters came out of the hole without even thinking about it. I just thought you had to kill a certain % of the top monsters to get more monsters to come out and those monsters were random. Can someone please confirm that this is true? And if you can kite the shroud walker far enough to kill it away from the green to avoid the Shade-Walker mod from appearing on the Abyss rare? I'd check myself but I'm not at my home PC at the moment. |
