29.08 - 28.09 begs to differ. Seems like you don't understand how leagues, or let alone dates, work. How about you hop off the forum of a game you're not even playing.

Now you start thinking (by putting correct data)
You referred September, I refer actual state....not mention narrow step down with popularity.

The forum is free for everybody, even for those who are not playing so your "hop off the forum" is angry management threat.

besides all data: popularity of this game right now is lower (sic!) than the lowest part before 0.2 patch.....

Show us one seasonal pve game, with no player-dropoff.

The best way to explain it is the playstyle for farming mechanics is much more enjoyable than the playstyle for farming xp. I stop at 98 usually since I get bored of the latter.

You become bored after dying countless times and realize that reaching level 100 will be endlessly frustrating take a lifetime to achieve.

Achieving level 98 is a significant accomplishment that is beyond the reach of ordinary players.

Once again, the XP penalty reduces the number of active players. On top of that, we have a severe amount of stun, ground-burning damage, random critical kills, and a confusing tablet system + the worst feature: Trade.

Where is the seasonal pve game with no player dropoff? Or can't you find any?

Level 100 should be easy, it's basic expected character progression.
No one cares for race to 100, don't force people to participate in "races" they don't care for, make it a toggle like ssf etc. Reward people for never dying in maps with build up rewards rather than punishing people. It's common sense and game design, unless you hate your players of course.

So basically every Rouge-like game shouldn't exist. Noted.

The reason why EXP is slow and why there is an EXP penalty on death is that the race to 100 is the endgame activity for some.

Is slow because Exponential Curve XP is very narrow up from the lvl 80.
Check the chart.

Some ppl like to run maps and have tinks, some ppl like to be hideout warrios and profit craft their way to a mirror, some ppl like to endlessly upgrade their chars to (close to) perfection and some ppl like to lvl race to 100.

The reason why players wants to achieve lvl 100 is to gain maximum points for gear and also experiment with different combinations of Skill Tree (100 lvl gives more possibilities)

Why should GGG remove the EXP loss, make EXP faster and effectively kill an entire endgame activity for an audience?

The game is ultimately frustrating. On top of losing XP, GGG has added many other "features" that make the game completely chaotic, appealing only to a small segment of the player base (approximately 5-10%).

I will repeat: I do not foresee significant success for PoE2 upon its full release due to its shift toward a Souls-like ARPG style. While there will certainly be a player base, the game itself is likely to remain a niche title.

No, it is getting slower to actually cause an impact upon death. If the EXP gain was the same speed as lets say from lvl 89 to 90 then it would be a complete cake walk and ppl would be done within 1 day.

Nobody needs all lvl 100 skill points to make a build. And no build guide creator that's serious will base his build around that level. Nearly every build guide will be aiming for ~lvl 93 as "max" lvl as that is a reasonable lvl to achieve even for the casual gamers.

Game will be in a great state upon full release and I hope they keep it at least a little bit challenging (it's easy enough for even only semi-decent casual players). If ppl want an ARPG where they get to max lvl in like 1 day and stand afk in monster groups with no danger then they shall go play D4 please.

I do not post any links on forum because GGG do not like them.
Search by yourself on Steam Charts.

That's exactly what I was referring to. The severity of this issue renders the system unplayable. The XP level progression in PoE2 is very manageable—I would even say it's quite easy to gain experience. Just look at the Diablo 3 XP curve after levels 5,000 or 8,000! The XP penalty is problematic because it is not scaled with the XP level. It is fixed at 10% (or 5%) of one XP level, which makes the game extremely frustrating after level 95. They didn't even adjust the XP penalty according to XP gain... that's ridiculous!

You did not understand my answer: of course, you do not need to reach the maximum level to create builds! However, you need to be at the maximum level to get the most out of your build.

I have doubts about the game's success. It will likely achieve moderate success initially, but in the months following its release, its popularity will decline significantly, stabilizing at a specific level—namely, a solid base of hardcore players. The game itself is unlikely to generate substantial revenue outside the Asian market, which is Tencent's primary target. They are not concerned with the rest of the world.

The PoE2 Asia region will likely feature a different game system, with more microtransactions and other variations.

You don't need any links, but names. Good thing you're just plainly avoiding the answer, since you don't have any. So transparent.
