Looted gear should be viable alternative to crafted gear.

I really wish to get some usable stuff AT LEAST from the uber bosses or any hard map boss instead of %16 to fire resistance with 57 life and 155 armour.
Neden yaşıyorsun?

I really want that too. But often, with NeverSink's 5th loot filter turned on, after a long and hard boss fight, I see a blank screen. And when I press Alt, I see a few barely noticeable lines. Not even a map drops. PoE is the most unrewarding ARPG. That's a fact.

" I didn't really play PoE1 but according to what I hear there is very well a crafting system in PoE1, an allegedly quite big and complex one. And for PoE2 the crafting did exist since it's release, just a very simple one and pretty much high-tier item exclusive for mirror-tier crafters since those purple omens were incredibly expensive. Since the additions in 0.3 the crafting has become very deterministic up to a point where many (if not most of, if they were honest to themselves) will say that it's too powerful and needs a nerf - however that would be done. And the basics of the new crafting in 0.3 are not for "uber-nerds" it just takes a little bit of time and willingness to watch some guides/videos/3rd-party info to get an understanding about those basics. |

You're saying that because you don't seem to have tried crafting yourself. As a matter of principle, I try to craft at least something useful every league. I spend a lot of currency. I make thousands of attempts. But every time I get trash. I can buy any item on the trade, and I buy it because I can't get the right combination of properties myself. If there is no deterministic crafting in the game, then there is no crafting at all.Tons of items drop out in the game, but they're all garbage, because, as the author of the post said, high level bases have the low tier properties. If this is not the case, then there will be a chance to find something useful for the build among these tons of garbage. It would make sense to purposefully select items that match the type. It doesn't make sense now.

" ![]() Helmet, gloves, armor, amulet and ring are all fully selfcrafted (abandoned the ring since I found a completed one for cheap on trade). The boots is bought from trade to have a 2nd pair to yolo vaal but I had crafted a similar pair from scratch. The bow was an abandoned base with T2 %phys, T2 hybrid phys, T1 CC and 1-2 other trash mods that I picked up from trade for 15 divs and turned into what it's now. And there are countless more items I profit crafted to sell or crafted for self-use so no, you're wrong. I tried out crafting in 0.3 (in fact the first time I used purple omens myself and not just sell them like I did in previous leagues) and had a blast with it. There are a few things to learn about it though so I had to invest some time into reading/watching guides and figuring out stuff by learning by doing. |

It's pretty cute. But it's much easier and faster to buy it all. Although, damn, it would be more interesting to do it yourself. But the developers are doing it so that it becomes the maximum hemorrhoids.
