Feedback: This breach is actually worse than the previous one

It takes too much time - compare the defense breaches vs the normal breaches where you need to kill stuff. The latter is sooooooo much better AND faster.

Loot doesn't drop immediately at the end - come on, nobody cares about this ding ding ding item after item, drop everything at the same time

The wall system feels bad - we don't do breaches to experience tower defense but to wipe screens.

The new reward system is completely RNG based even when you set it up - you'll either "give birth" to a divine or a couple of chaos orbs, roll the dice.

Lack of interesting enemies - they are all the same ffs, it is like I am playing Scourge again.

Too easy - the only difficulty in the Hive is the protection part for some builds, apparently, the rest is a cakewalk you can farm from day 2

This is poe 2 level design in PoE 1, it doesn't fit the pace of the game at all
Disagree.

I'm glad Breach hives exist, as it gives players with poor clear speed a way to engage in Breach content they'd otherwise avoid.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.

Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build!

I gotta agree.

I'm not even in red maps yet and I'm already tired of the mechanic.
The wall mechanic is much too frequent, especially on a ranged character its only purpose is to piss u off.

Same with the Hives, they are easy doable for my build, but they are way too frequent with how long it takes to complete them.

I keep on sighing whenever I start a map and see breach walls. It's either the tiresome running around and clearing all the walls or it's the even worse long ass hives.

New breach is awesome.
New breach is so much better in every capacity. This reads like a typical day 2 feedback thread that throws out all nuance before devs even address initial feedback

I hope we don't have to go back to the old Breach where you gather splinters for maps over maps before running boring Breachstones. Not for the loot, but for XP. It was boring af

The hives feel like they should be a separate thing from the maps. Similar to how the bosses in the new breach are. It feels like its own separate mechanic from the rest of the breach mechanic. The best example I can give is it feels like a Blighted Map vs ecountering blight in your map. Its time consuming and in its current state feels very unwhelming and under rewarding for the time it takes to go about going into and completing it.
Defensive breaches are very bad.

I feel people are getting confused. HIVE breaches (you know, the things that are literally called hives in game, have an entirely separate area, have 24 waves. Hives.) are fine. I enjoy them.

Fortress/defensive breaches (the ones that crop up seemingly 90% of the time, that literally eat up all other map content and potentially nuke your scarab investment, where even with the latest changes its annoying to clear the walls and enemies don't even spawn at the locations of the mini-map marked spawn locations) are crap and shouldn't exist. They just get in the way of mapping and feel awful.
They actually made hives even worse thanks to the new walls
