This is a new one for me, do people think neversink has an agenda?

It’s not really about having an agenda, but when major oversights keep slipping through each league, especially when it was painfully obvious price fixing would spiral hard, it’s hard not to ignore how the passion behind the product seems to be fading. To be fair, long-term development can wear anyone down, but after years of working on the same product for leagues, seeing the same types of mistakes repeat suggests burnout or simply low effort. In the software industry, this level of recurring oversight would generally be considered below standard, and in a real job, you’d probably be let go rather quickly.

At this point, it feels less like something driven by passion and more like a product being kept afloat for the sake of the income it generates. Even long standing third party tool creators seem to be hitting their limits, which only makes it more surprising that GGG still hasn’t implemented an official in-game loot filter. Last Epoch managed to do it, simple, efficient, and player-friendly. Imagine that.

Jumping to conclusions from nothing there. Neversink is one of our best, and your criticism is best applied elsewhere. Like, you are implying "low effort being put into the service" and "burnout", "worn down" and "below standard"

My dude, this is a free service. The audacity to lay all that out there off some bots having influence on one version of the filter (Stable version does not have this issue) when you could instead point to people not reviewing their filter settings, especially for a tier like uber-strict.

Come on, dude.

This is exactly why it’s worth investing a bit of extra effort to refine and tailor your loot filter to your own preferences and exact needs, instead of relying solely on the default front-page presets.

Doesn't change what you said, does it. I quoted the context

stable version too
So, just to make sure I understand the complaint correctly because I'd hate to straw man:

The problem is that the new trading system has not been fully integrated into the old third party apps that some players use, and despite the fact that absolutely none of these apps are made by anyone who works at grinding gear games this is an issue for them to solve?

I have follow up questions, but I'm genuinely hoping that you're about to tell me I'm missing something and this isn't actually why you made this thread.

Okay, good. Help me out, then: what is the point? Which problem inside of the game are you having? The only complaints I saw were about problems with your apps.
