-20% exp on death needed

Dude keeps posting the same thing every single league...Weirdest flex posts I've seen on these forums...

My man, go play HC or some non-meta niche build for once in your life and you'll cool off real fast, trust me.

And just let other people play whatever build they want. I really don't understand why people like you have such a hard on for ruining the fun of others.

A bigger XP penalty and unavoidable damage would "incentivize" more players to build their character with better defensive layers? And where would you get those defensive layers?

Have you tried a typical witch class character with little else but a big fat ES pool? 1-2 hits connect and your character evaporates. Going to add in that expensive svalinn to help with some block? Hope your block doesn't fail because you will die again. It's ok because you can fall back on armor and/or evasion. Oh wait the witch doesn't have that. That's ok because we can offer you expensive gear possibilities 1/2/3/4 at a combined cost of hundreds of divines and impaired offensive performance to maybe cover a fraction of your defensive deficiencies.

I think the community doesn't quite perceive the gradual power creep of MONSTER (not just player) damage output over time. Oh wait, I almost forgot that many of these monsters (e.g. goatmen) will deliver that damage output to your face BEFORE YOU SEE THEM ON SCREEN.

We need like an FAQ with simple explanations why ES is just so busted by comparison to life builds. Can't believe people who consider themselves veterans still don't get it in 2025.

When you're unmotivated to learn you will just simply develop the thought that the game should be developed for your skill level.

I think that's true for every skill level though. This thread itself is a testiment to that. ;-)

Thing is, this game has never pandered to the casual dad gamer and some people should ponder on that for a bit

Yeah. Some people just for some reason refuse that you have to play Lonnie Juggernaut, because for some reason playing low life builds you can get one-tapped because server decided so or you have disabled recovery because you play Predictive mode and it's not fixed for years.
There was guy on reddit not long ago who was dying randomly for not reason and no one could answer him. Go, tell him how didn't learn anything.
