Using public “players counted”/Steam charts, Keepers of the Flame launched larger and (so far) appears to retain players at least as well as the last 2–3 leagues — in some metrics it shows slightly better week-2 and month-1 retention. The clearest signal is the larger Day-0 peak and a higher stabilized concurrent level shown in SteamDB/SteamCharts and summarized by trackers "Retention is excellent" 38.6% on 19th day of league. It's the second worst league after Necropolis in 8 leagues. Taking in consideration that those patch didn't bring any changes - my prediction that there is be 35% on 20th-21th day. Why should I play the game where is no loot? For what purpose? I've already achieved everything and could farm any content because there is nothing my build cannot do P.S. Loot when? Dont matter what you do to PoE 1, I will not play PoE 2, anyone with 80+ IQ would never touch PoE 2. Its obvious how much PoE 2 did hurt PoE 1. Its possible that I stop to play PoE 1 however, in 3.28 I already have, unless you fix it, I dont touch PoE 1 too. Its basic logic: Theres nothing you can do in PoE 2 that can make it better than PoE 1, even if you could, you would still be able to just do that in PoE 1 to make it even better. PoE 2 is a mistake - but its your money, I dont care, burn it, continue with PoE 2, whatever, I could not care less about it. If possible, just dont ruin PoE 1, it was good until now. Why? Because these people keep logging in and coming back to poe wanting to play it. I could've kept playing the exact same endgame that was in settlers league for years so long as they kept tweaking builds around like they have. I want to log in and play that poe.
