dk why they do not inform the reduction %. if the reduction % is about 50%, how hard to kill brutus type boss with pure melees *without dream gears*? this game keep pushing play ranged and get dream gears.

Seems to me like the better option would have been to put a multiplicative curse reduction effect on bosses based on how many curses are present, that way you dont suffer if you cant get multiple curses from your build and are attempting to solo, and may have served as enough of a deterrent to not stack 3-5 curses as some groups are doing now to trivialize.

sooo they are going to punish every person who plays solo they should have done it only if the boss is effected by more then one curse that and make it even harder for the not top of the line melee builds

This patch irritates me. The curse penalty should NOT apply to defensive curses. PERIOD. Unless your upcoming patch regarding survival addresses this, this is a very very bad change imo.

Everybody complaining about the curse reduction is looking at this wrong. The curses were so powerful (imo), particularly against bosses, that they are/were mandatory for a large number of players.
Maybe with the curse reduction, everybody will die and they'll nerf some of the bosses. Hopefully we'll end up with a situation where they're manageable without curses and easier or faster with curses. |

as a casual solo newb player.. which is already extremely hard to solo unless you kripgayrrian build yourself or use some other cookie cutter build this sucks. :c
I love how POE is going from an ARPG to an ARPGMMO forcing casual players to group up :/ If they did this nerf for hardcore players, then go play hardcore and make it a hardcore ladder thing. Heck, or create an all new ladder for CASUAL players or something >:C |

" Really liked this idea. Nerfing 50% for everyone outright sounds like a really really lazy idea. They can also introduce a global-curse-level-cap, like 25 or so. So if you cast your first curse e.g level 18 Feeble, you only have 7 levels left for other curses. If your second curse is level 20, it will be capped at level 7, and of course third curse will have 0 effect. Nerfing curse on Piety is no problem for levelers. In my experience, a lot of players run Lunaris and then skip Piety anyway. Now this will be done even more.
