Balance for casuals - mechanics for hardcore players - Game for no one
|
We are in weird situation
Share you opinion - as well if you are casual and zoomer or a core target group who liked slower and methodical combat as no-one is satisfied about current state of the game -Where game difficulty is casualized - bosses are trivalized and can be done on blue gear while just holding one button -They buff actually op skills like werewolf is one of the fastest and strongest builds that zoomzoom but -endgame 6 afixes have one portal so casuals can't play actually comfy -xp punishment - again not for casuals who just want to click game and lot more GGG can't satisfy both groups of players.. zoomers and players who want meaningful promised gameplay with challenge unless GGG now focus on casuals and zoomers buffing already zooming stuff which trivalize bosses (werewolf) Just made manifesto.. which target group you want to stay as POE 2 players leaved - those which liked poe 2 design, slower gameplay and so on and they will not return no matter what will be added as active gameplay of slower and methodical combat is what poe 2 community cared for - which doesn't exist.. nor in campain nor in end-game and zoomers and casuals just want to click game so all the synergies and more mostly are not for them - and the entire skill design make them annoyed so you push out from game main target group -to satisfy annoyed anyway unsatified group -making the main target group who liked slower & methodical gameplay unsatified and ignored by making entire game "right click" game -punishing casuals while making game easier for them -slowing game while trivalizing it so much that doesn't matter -making campain to be challenging only if you don't know what are you doing -so experienced players just trivalize campain as bosses are done on blue gear by holding just one button -but casuals don't want bosses to be hard and it's hard only for first-time play (maybe 2,3) then it's null experience bosses are made for one time experience as well as campain now entire end-game is done in 2 days of play so game is not for experienced player nor for casuals and weekly player for no one Last edited by saashaa#5518 on Dec 19, 2025, 10:44:03 AM Last bumped on Dec 20, 2025, 6:45:30 PM

Can you guys write your feedback in thread? about what do you think.
As well if you are zoomer or if you liked 0.1 difficulty. Im curious how people "think" about current balance and gameplay pace |

my take is the randomness of loot make it impossible to not zoom/farm.
It just because skill expression simply doesn’t come as reward. Its not like if i beat arbiter with white gear i suddenly get a set of t1 modifier rare where i gain huge character improvements. It just gives me one of its random drop where its probably gonna do nothing to my build. If you think about games which encourage skill expression, its always games with fixed rewards and clear progression. (eg Eldenring) And theres no economy or trade system which forces players to farm. |

Post the video of your character doing bosses in blue gear with 1 button.

" A lot of good campaign gear is 2 mod gear, so it doesnt matter if its blue or yellow. I'd still like to see it. I think you're just making stuff up to be dramatic. |

The issue with the game is its entirely designed around RNG
To get by this, thats why theres trading, yet its all rng so a few players get lucky, and define the economy, then have all the wealth, its truly unfair game design... +1 |
