i dont agree at all as a person that started with poe2 and went to poe1 to give it a try i cant stand it, something is just off, everything is way too simple there, i know poe1 players with constant whining will surely at some level influence ggg to make the game faster but i just hope they dont make it the same blinkfest boring gameplay

Convoluted fits better to describe POE2.
i'm ok with slow, but not with being one-shot when i was slow
This is a rage bait thread, where's the mod?
Balance around casual? lmao
Then explain to me why they did not buff loots drop especially for SSF? isn't that meant for people who don't care about trade and play at their own pace?
I'll pay extra money if they implement a SSF mod with 1000% rarity boost so we don't have to participate and compete with streamers in this bs economy trade
Exploit early exploit often bozos.
Maybe, but sticking with the same old formula means death for the genre.

I think GGG knows this. especially in the wake of award winning CRPGs. They just seem to lack the conviction or understanding to follow through. ARPGs were not always like they are now, just as MMOs were not all WoW clones. Much like all those WoW clones, people with money will see it as a bad investment without understanding why it no longer works. Then the genre will die.

I don't want that. I've lived RPGs since Zelda, Dragon Quest 1 and FF1 but it will happen.

Speed is relative to map size.
Slower move is okay, the maps need to adapt. they are WAY TO FREAKING HUGE.
It's not an issue of "then we need to add more content", the REWARD is FINISHING the map due to how atlas progression works (and likely future mechanics). CLEARTIME matters for getting rewards, more monsters do not matter at all.
Map size smaller is a good solution.

then ull just have 1000% more useless shit to sort through. the drop rates are fine... too high even. its the quality of the drops thats the issue. ive gotten prob 5k items in 2 weeks. not 1 of them remotely useful. if an item doesnt drop close to perfect its completely useless. the weights of shit, useless mods is way too high. when i exalt i get the same useless attrib reqs or light radius 8/10 times.

True, the irony is that d2 is always praised as the best game of the genre poe1 and 2 take inspiration from... what is actually liked about d2 when it came out and for the longest time?
It was a real time DND campaign with real character progression, not a currency farm simulator. What kind of rpg has you farm money? Nonsense.
Endgame, grind? No one cares, only the small part after retention drops. People want a rpg power fantasy, give them the power and they play more and for longer. Not rocket science.
Even in 0.1, the game's messaging seemed at odds with itself. They say they want it slower and more meaningful but then they go and still had hordes of fast attacking enemies and bosses and spell/death/ground effects to kill you rapidly.

Jesus ever heard of loots filter? rarity is not only for gears but also for currencies which is meant for crafting (glorified gambling for this game). If you have enough currencies everything is deterministic. You can imagine and experiement whatever build you want without making grinding this game a job.

Kinda funny the OP is looking down on PoE 1 players, even bragging about 13 years spent playing PoE 1, yet he doesn't seem to have a single good character in his profile.
