replaying the campaign would be a hard no from me

The main issue, apart from godawful zone design, huge map size, tight corridors, lack of fog of war clearance, unskippable animations and the general need to port way too many times to town, is the lack of interesting skills to use during leveling. Some skills you unlock near the end of the campaign which is genuinely insane. It's like GGG made it extra annoying on purpose

" PoE2 is not hard. Dodge when the boss does the overly dramatic wind-up, that's it. That's the very pinnacle of the games "difficulty" If it were any easier it would play itself. What we want is for it to be faster. |

" Well said. |

Compare PoE 1 where you unlock all active skills at level 28. Which is not even the middle of the campaign by the way, it is in the middle of Act 3 out of 10. Yes, technically all skills, active and support, unlock at level 38 but this is still way earlier than all PoE 2 skills unlock.
The weirdest part is if you have higher level characters you can easily use tier 5 supports in Act 1. Yet some active skills are locked behind level 50+. How crazy is that. |

I come from CRPG that has like 60+ hour normal campaign completion, and tons, tons of text dialogue + enough lore to write a novel. Details like this are the definition of a role play game one.
Ending the campaign in 16 hours is nothing ... compared to this: |

I agree with you ,
It is pain to redo a character unless you have a friend or someone who you can buy service from in some discords for a couple of divines to push and speed it up for you. This is boring and campgain should be skipped after first character in every league. They should allow running maps right from the start on the 2nd character. Also the maps levels should scale with the player level. Perhaps they can run waystone 1 untill they reach about 70. |
|
" You crazy? It's 10-12 hours average. Assume if you know the game well. 6-7 is speedrunning territory. |
|
" Never heard of that game. Is it a single player RPG? or is it an ARPG where you have to redo it over and over and over every new class you want to try or new seasons? |
|
" That's Rogue Trader. Anyone who thinks that PoE 2 is too complex should try that game lol. |

But that game is probably the easiest one Owlcat ever made. So it is still a bad comparison, lmao
