Some of the people there are real scumbags, though. I saw one person say he subscribed to kripp so that he could participate in a subscriber only key giveaway so he didn't have to pay $10 to GGG, but instead $5 to kripp.

He won a key.

I'll definitely agree with this. I'm glad PoE is getting a lot of attention over there, but Kripp and the 'Kripparrians' have been less than impressive. I could elaborate, but, honestly, it's not worth it. I'm sad this thread has gotten so much attention...
Chris is with Kripp again.
ZOMG ITS BETA TIME!

I think Chris has gained a taste for mumble/stream, and I have to say that Kripp's feedback to Chris as he plays is definitely prompting some good intelligence on the game.

If I like a game, it'll either be amazing later or awful forever. There's no in-between.

I am Path of Exile's biggest whale. Period.

Good to know traps can kill the HP built (instantly?), and he was stunned for a moment, lol.

Straight from twitter ... Kripps Reviewhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8ejSJiGN4A8

Watched the review. Again he shows his ignorance of the game. He has learned more about it since he first started (he did not like the game for the first couple of hours he played until Chris showed up and actually started explaining things to him...).

But, his ignorance is most evident when he speaks about the "endless end-game" yet fails to mention Maps?

And Chris EXPLAINED Maps to him during their first mumble chat, but Kripp was either too busy playing to listen to the lead developer or his brain is just too fried by D3 to understand what Chris was actually saying.

I dont blame Kripp for not understanding everything just yet, since he just started, but I think he is picking up pretty good. The most important thing right now, is the acknowledgement from Chris, having a dev talking while a good (famous?) player is in action is just massive publicity for PoE, and honestly Im glad Chris is taking his time to do this.

Not sure he is picking up pretty good. He seems to play straight forward games, and keep things simple. This game could be too complicated for him.

I wish I can write down some of Chris' points. How it stun your enemy and etc.

I wouldn't blame him either -- I'm still learning the nuances of Wraeclast. However, I do blame him for having Chris explain Maps to him and he still doesn't show any sort of understanding. If you listen to his part on "endless end-game" you'll see he mentions ladders and the high level cap. Hah.

And so it's obvious he hasn't gone out of his way to gather any information about the game, yet he makes a PoE Opinion video. Luckily, it was mostly positive in tone. But still, if I was in his position and knew my youtube videos would get that many views, I'd feel a responsibility to be as informed as possible before posting any of my opinions.

Indeed, I wish I could get all this info, at least he did (unofficially) announce PVP, minion patches, which we know about, but he did say another open weekend coming up in a month. :D

Chris being back again today tells you that while he is on Kripps stream people are supporting the game buy buying keys to play the game.

Yes, not everyone there is an amazing person.

Yes Kripp isn't always listening as well as he should be while Chris is talking, but he is playing HC.

This is good for the future of the game, so even if you don't like Kripp, you should like the publicity and supporters the game is getting.
