Priconne is basically wholesome, insanely well-animated Konosuba. The ONLY negative reviews I've seen truly didn't get the joke: the MC is a fucking dumbass and the show absolutely knows it. He is, to be precise, the McGuffin. Once you stop thinking of him as a 'main character' and more like a somehow-important thing the other characters need to protect, it all comes together.

I have managed to watch through 4 anime. Bleach, Death note, FMA Brotherhood and Boondocks. Not really sure what else there is to watch :(

I'll draw my hat to you, dear gentleman, for being able to watch through them, I think I would died before finishing bleach, and lets not talk about show #2. but if you like that kind of stuff, theres always mirai nikki and deadman wonderland etc.


Also as I watched through sonny boy with a friend this evening: Lets just say the feeling this show manages to deliver is awesome. Feel one with this unchanging universe and understand that even eternity may not be able to fullfill your wishes.

Well, if you got any genre you're interested in (and also things you absolutely do not want to see), let us know so we can give some proper recommendations.

FMA Brotherhood might have set some unrealistically high expactations though. It's almost a miracle of a show and generally considered to be one of the best anime out there.

We decided to pause Dennou Coil. Somehow Nflix only has a dvd transfer and their subs suck. So I hit up Rightstuf and grabbed the blu.

Unfortunately the GF was like shipping is a bitch so add other things.

I sorted by price low to high and 700 bucks later...

You can see a little Covid strain on the fonale's production values but I think it's foolish to expect Ufotable or MAPPA wuality from Gintama of all things. Be forever yorozuya is a better movie BUT this was an excellent conclusion to the silver soul arc and Gintama in general.

I think of it as a high prod value series of eps and in that way it works.

So halfway through princess connect s1 and its funny, and yes the MC doesn't get any screentime anyway but i don't have problems with cgdct :>

Also nier:automata the anime...
I kinda hyped, but i don't really think this will work beyond being eyecandy.

Gintama The Very Final was a very Gintama Final. Nowhere near the sakuga of most movies but enough to rock, and a fitting conclusion to where the series left us.

Watched the Revue Starlight recap movie (rondo rondo rondo) and actual sequel movie. The recap has new versions of all the songs and I believe rerecorded dialogue, and some new cuts...and an entirely new ending with a hell of a cliffhanger, of course, because why else would we watch a recap?

The new movie though? Holy fuckballs. Sakuga. Sakuga for days. Didn't have the heights of Fate Grand/Order Camelot 2 but Camelot 2 was really emssy; Revue Starlight the movie was so consistently impressive balancing incredible action and fucking crazy aesthetics. Anyone who's seen Utena will know pretty much what to expect given this is by Utena's director's protege, and he REALLY has a thing for trains. I'd go so far as to call Revue Starlight's movie about as close to perfect as it could be. 2 solid hours in which no girl is short-changed -- and one who was done a bit dirty by the series gets her moment, finally.

I think Gosick is one of the worst animes I've ever seen. And it's beautifully animated by Bones with a pretty stellar cast led by Aoi Yuki with support by Sawashiro Miyuki and Hayami Show.

What a trainwreck.

really? its not really a mystery show and you may have to like the whole loli spiel but i don't really remember anything really trainwrecky about it.

Also, as always, japanese writers have strange ideas about any period in middle european history xD
