Flipping is amazingly profitable in POE

Mr Flip just made 1 exalt without A SINGLE MINUTE SPENT FARMING.

Now lets pretend Mr Flip is doing the same with Shavronnes. He buys them for 33 and sells it 36. Thats 3 exalts for reading comprehension skills and patience.

I'm confused. You seem to think that spending all day spamming trade chat is somehow better than spending the day grinding (which also gets you something called xp which can be useful :P).

And just for the record, the guy you refer to as "Mr Slowpoke" is laughing his tits off at you. You think you got one over on him by making an exalt for a few hours of chatspam, while he spent the past few hours just playing the game and enjoying it for what it is, while letting you do all the boring stuff for an insignificant amount of cost to him.

qft.
exacly about i feel about flippers, they're just handy npc.
This calls arbitrage, buy low sell high. when you get to certain level and waiting for a new content, this is another way of 'game' you can play. However, you need to take risk of it of buying a 'high risk' item. Of 'cos if you can buy low on 'hot' item (e.g. BoR, AA, Andv), then you can make a very good 'profit'.

Seems that flippers seem increasing, they know the market price, they know who you are (flipper or not), you hardly get a good price from them. Or you need to wait someone who really needs currency atm, then you can buy things cheap at a bit lower market price.

Anyway, it's know of another way of 'grinding', think it's better than RMAH.
oh i think, both gamers should be here, the ingame gamer, and the trade only chatter gamer.if there were these guys missing how would the trade look like? without any "30 chaos for you 1 ex"

i think it very cool, for my choise there should be more special items maybe in other colors or stuff like that, so that someone can hunt in trade after this. shavs always sold, but a black shav "robocop" styled black that would be really nice.
@ the beginning trade is a loose - win situation. boah i lost so much currency @ beginning

If you spend all your time in trade Chat, you get rich must faster then playing (farming) the game. You can get all equiptment for a high Level Player without playing the game.

Just need a bot to level up one's character, and advisor to choose the passive skill nodes, and a stand in to have sex with one's lover and then one can be the happiest person ever.

Hmm, might need a stand in to take vacations and someone to prechew the food.

I don't have anything against the traders. If getting a stash full of orbs and using those to buy end game gear and smashing high level maps with no challenge makes them happy, than I applaud them for actively seeking happiness.

If the challenge and finding items for myself was taken out of POE, than I'd probably find Solitaire more rewarding.

Or as a Buyer u even wait for yourself of the Offer for what u want and don´t pay as much as by such Mr.Flip!-)
Trading DpS with Monsters for Loot will ever best Ratio!-)
Sitting in Town, flipping Items until all Gear is biS,
and get fastly bored from running Maps instead of grinding Upgrades is no Resolution!
I don't mean to sound like a dick, but this is common sense. It's amazingly profitable in every game, more so in games with auction houses. I've yet to find a game that had a better way to make money than trading.

The harder trading is in a game, the more profitable individual flips will be on average. At least the flippers aren't just mindlessly searching an auction house and are instead exerting some mental effort.

Some people like to play the game and get rich, others like to sit in trade chat all day.. To each their own I guess...but if what you like to do is trade, why don't you go hit up wall street or the stock market or something? IMO your wasting your time flipping items in a video game. It's not like your actually going to use the currency you get to buy items for your character to actually play the game! At least IRL you can use the money you accrue to buy other things.. SMH.. Some people just don't make sense...

Oh and who doesn't know about flipping items?? OP thinks he's original and shit... LoL

Just for you, flipper:
